After a long absence of country music stars, Purdue Convocations is bringing in the big cowboy boots: Dierks Bentley's.

Bentley will be performing at 7:30 p.m. April 10 in Elliott Hall of Music; the opening acts will be by Bucky Covington, a contestant from the fifth season of "American Idol," and country musician Luke Bryan.
Tickets go on sale Friday, February 15 at 10 am for Purdue faculty, staff, students and Ivy Tech Lafayette students; You can get yours at campus box offices and by phone at (765) 494-3933 (ID required). General public seats go on sale Saturday, February 16 at 10 am through Ticketmaster outlets, by phone at (765)743-5151, or at Ticketmaster.com.
