Wednesday news: Country Weekly survey, 12 Man Jam gallery, video gifts and more...

Bucky Covington shares a smile from the stage at Floyd's Music Store in Tallahassee, 12/16; photo courtesy of our talented friend Buckyflowers, who had a great spot at the show. You'll find more of her beautiful concert shots here. Thanks again, Buckyflowers! Bucky Covington's debut CD is in stores now, and his music video for "It's Good to Be Us" is available for online viewing at CMT.com and Yahoo Music. You can buy Bucky's album at Amazon, Best Buy , iTunes, WalMart Music and Target, hear his music atCMT and GAC, or enjoy samples of songs from the CD at Bucky's official MySpace. A copy of Bucky Covington can be ordered at his official site or via his official fan club.

There's a huge gallery of photos from this past weekend's KPLX/99.5 The Wolf 12 Man Jam posted at the station's site today; meet and greet, audience and performance shots are all uploaded and ready for your viewing pleasure. (Make a fresh pot of coffee--there's plenty to see--and enjoy...)

There's also lots to see at YouTube--last night's new additions to Bucky Covington's profile were a hoot, and this morning brings the delightful surprise of those beautiful Tallahassee concert videos by FLCathy. You can check them all out in her YouTube profile --thanks again to FLCathy for sharing the fun.

But wait...there's more! MJ of MJ's Big Blog fame has kindly left us this very cool video blast from the past--nothin' like a soulful holiday classic to get the day going in style...

Rocky Covington and Bucky Covington share a microphone at a concert in Milwaukee earlier this year; photo by the very kind Midask9. Click the image to see more. Thanks, Midask9!

For more news on Bucky's concert schedule, bookmark his official website, his MySpace, his Gruvr tour map and our December/January Concert Roundup, or just scroll on down and peruse our past posts. We're keeping up as best we can as the season rolls on--stay tuned!

We've got a bit of "superstar polevaulting" to deal with at Mediabase this week--
Bucky's single, "It's Good to Be Us", is a bulleted #26 on the weighted chart and #27 with a bullet on the Top 500, and his "Santa Claus is Coming to Town" starts the day at #82 . Keep requesting Bucky at your favorite local or streaming country stations, keep those syndicated evening country radio shows in mind, and give him some love on your local "Top X at X" countdown.

Click here to vote for Bucky at GAC.comAnd we're aiming for a good leap up the countdown charts for Bucky's latest music video. Watch "It's Good to Be Us" now at CMT, and give it a round of applause at GAC's Top 20 Country Countdown, CMT's Top 20 Countdown and at CMT's Pure Country Pure 12-Pack.

Finally, if you're a Country Weekly reader, here's your chance to let them know what (and who) you'd like to see more of in their pages this coming year. The magazine's long and through reader survey is online; hit Country Weekly's main page, scroll down to the "Tell Us What You Think" banner with the big blue checkmark, and take a moment to let your opinion be heard. Bucky is one of the options for the fourth question, which asks: "Thinking specifically about new country stars, which of these would you be interested in reading more about? " Let them know! A few minutes of our time now could help lead to a lot of fun in our mailboxes and on the newsstands in 2008...

More soon--have a wonderful Wednesday!

Bucky is playing "the Redneck Guitar" from the fan club at the Billy Bob Show! How cool is that!
