The year is winding down in a quiet fashion--until that exciting US99 New Year's Eve Ball gets started at the Holiday Inn Select & Convention Center in Tinley Park, that is. (Bucky Covington, Luke Bryan and headliner Keith Anderson are all set to help you ring 2008 in style; check Ticketmaster now for any last-minute options, and have fun!)
Other than that, the scene's fairly serene this morning, but a stop at Mediabase indicates that things are looking good for Bucky and "It's Good to Be Us" once those year-end syndicated countdowns are done--it moves up one to #26 on the weighted chart today, and holds on strong at #27 on the and Top 500. Tune in and listen to see if the coast is clear for a call, and if your favorite local or streaming country station is taking requests, ask for Bucky! Some of tonight's syndicated country radio shows might also be in "year in review" mode--listen in and see...

We'll leave you on this Saturday morning with a quick look at Bucky's upcoming shows; 2008 is going to be a busy one for Bucky and the band, and an exciting one for all of us who like him live and rockin'!

As always, we highly recommend Bucky's official website, his MySpace, his Gruvr tour map and our own December/January Concert Roundup--it's going to be quite a challenge keeping up with Bucky's concert tour, but the musical rewards are sweet indeed...
More soon--have a great Saturday!
Gorgeous pictures.. ummmm I mean.. great pictures, gorgeous subject matter :)
ReplyDeleteThis was a great show!
I emailed the people at the Briarpatch B&B in Middleberg, VA previously and they said that it definitely is a private event. No tickets being sold -- no public allowed.
ReplyDeleteThanks, Cathy Anne, and happy new year! Trish's photos are fantastic-- amd wow, did she have a great occasion to capture or what? That Wildhorse show was hot. I'll edit the Briar Patch info now--very lucky group. Have a great Saturday!
ReplyDelete*sigh* I want to go back to that night. I had so much fun. I hope we have a huge group of Buckaneers like that again SOON! Once again I am humbled. I did after all have GREAT subject matter to "shoot".... :o)
ReplyDeleteTrish, it was an absolute blast! You are such a talented photographer--it was an incredible night and you captured it so well. I hope there's another big Nashville show in the works--goodness knows we have a lot of fun down there. Thank you for the great images and we are definitely getting together in 2008! :)
