Tomorrow night, 2007 goes out with a cheer and a twang in Chicago--but for now? Crickets, y'all. Fortunately, the peace and quiet is set to end in splendid fashion, and if you're still thinking about heading out to the US99 New Year's Eve Ball, you might squeeze in--but we'd recommend getting there very early! The hotel/VIP packages are long gone, but there are still general admission tickets available. From the Ticketmaster event page:
All General Admission concert tickets include an open bar package of beer, wine, champagne, and call brands from 8pm - 12 midnight (Cash Bar 12 - 1:30am)
Tickets will go off sale via Ticketmaster phones and online at 3 p.m. the day of the show.
General Admission tickets will still be available at the door!
Please call 708-444-1100 for day-of-show information.
A last minute change of plans can sometimes lead to the time of your life--enjoy!
In Mediabase news, Bucky's single, "It's Good to Be Us", held on to this morning's chart gains and finished the weekend at #25 on the weighted chart and #26 on the Top 500. Many country stations will be airing year-end countdowns today and/or tomorrow, and "A Different World" is gracing them all--a perfect ending to a year that started off with Bucky's first radio airtime on Sirius. (We'll have a year-end wrap-up here, too--for now, check out the 2006/2007 New Year's post and think of how very, very different our worlds have become...)

More soon!
