Bucky Covington hits the spotlight (top) and shares a tune with Rocky Covington (scroll down) in two striking shots from last Saturday's show at Floyd's Music Store in Tallahassee. Solo photo by Buckyflowers, who shares her album here; duet photo by Janie, from her album at Photobucket. Thanks so much, Janie and Buckyflowers! Bucky Covington's debut CD is in stores now, and his music video for "It's Good to Be Us" is available for online viewing at CMT.com and Yahoo Music. You can buy Bucky's album at Amazon, Best Buy , iTunes, WalMart Music and Target, hear his music atCMT and GAC, or enjoy samples of songs from the CD at Bucky's official MySpace. A copy of Bucky Covington can be ordered at his official site or via his official fan club.A quiet Monday is taking shape--Bucky Covington's next show happens on 12/20, when he'll play the Voodoo Lounge at Harrah's St. Louis. (Need a ticket? Hop on over to Ticketmaster.) While we're waiting for the tour bus to get rolling again, here's a quick look at the rest of what's happening this week:
If you missed yesterday's beautiful photos and video from Bucky's Tallahassee show, you're in for a fun morning! Both Janie and Buckyflowers shared some extraordinary shots from Saturday's Floyd's Music Store concert; you'll find Janie's photos right here, and Buckyflowers' images are over here. And late last night, these stunning videos from the show by FLCathy hit the wires and caused a sensation. Kudos to Janie, Buckyflowers and FLCathy--you really captured the spirit of what must have been an amazing show!
Those year-end reviews are beginning to pop up, and one of the first to appear online is this "Top Picks--Class of 2007" list at About.com's Country Music section. Author Shelly Fabian notes: "His self-titled debut entered the charts at No. 1. Not a bad way to start a career." There's also a link to Sue Bauman's original About.com album review back in April--a fun trip down memory lane...
About.com is where a fun Top Singles of 2007 poll is in progress--Bucky's "A Different World" is one of the contenders, and if you'd like to vote for him, now's the time. The poll ends today at 3.p.m. Pacific time, so stop in soon! And while we're talking voting, let's get those video-countdown links posted right here. Watch "It's Good to Be Us" now at CMT, and give Bucky's exciting video some love at GAC's Top 20 Country Countdown, CMT's Top 20 Countdown and at CMT's Pure Country Pure 12-Pack.

Thanks, Janie! We've got a quiet Mediabase glimpse this morning, too--Bucky's latest single starts the week at a bulleted #26 on both the weighted and Top 500 charts this morning, and his rockin' version of "Santa Claus is Coming to Town" took flight four notches overnight to land at #80 today. Keep requesting Bucky at your favorite local or streaming country stations, and remember this week's "Top X at X" countdowns, too.
After you've hit your radio station's voting page, check out the galleries--sometimes you'll find a treat! WIL-FM in St. Louis has a few shots from Bucky's performance at the recent Jinglefest there, and it might be a good idea to bookmark the photo page at KPLX for future images from last night's 12-Man Jam...
Finally, check out the in-house poll, just for fun. This has been an amazing year for Bucky and for all of us--from that cold night huddled around our Sirius trial subscriptions listening to "A Different World", to the sweetness of a #1 debut album, to his appearances on the Opry stage and in front of a massive crowd at CMA Fest, to your most recent opportunity to see and hear Bucky rock the house from a stage near you. What do you think was Bucky's biggest milestone in 2007? Look for the poll on the sidebar. (And yes, you can vote for more than one event--it's hard to choose!) It'll run for a week, and we'll have the results posted next Monday morning. Have fun!
More soon--Winnie
