By request, Bucky Covington on stage deep in the heart of Texas; photo by the very gracious AmaTexMom, who shares more of her beautiful images from Bucky's Katy, Texas show at BuckyFanPics. AmaTexMom was also there for the San Antonio show at Cowboys Dance Hall, and you'll find her album here. Thanks again to AmaTexMom for her kindness! Here's a bit more info about that WIL radio event listed on Bucky Covington's official tour schedule--it's the station's annual Jinglefest on 11/29 at the Family Arena in St. Charles, MO, featuring Bucky, Eric Church and headliner Taylor Swift. Tickets are free--but they're tricky to get! If you're in the listening area today, though, you're in luck--the station will be giving some away to the first 100 people in line this afternoon between 4 and 5 p.m. local time at the Shop n' Save on 2183 Charbonier Road in Florissant. For more Ticket Blast dates and locations, bookmark the WIL Jinglefest page and keep it tuned to WIL. Good luck and congratulations to Bucky, Eric and Taylor's many mutual fans...
Speaking of concerts, here's another look at that Raisin' the Bar tour schedule-- I am happy to speak from first-hand experience (finally!) when I say that this is one of the very best live shows you'll see this year--or any year. Bucky's sales are keeping pretty steady sold 2,000 this week and last for a total of 295,000. hopefully with Christmas and spin increase, those sales #s will get bigger.
ReplyDelete~m~
I bought 3 Bucky CD's for Operation Home today! Record store was in midst of renos so I got them for the bargain price of $9.99 each on sale instead of $14.99. I never find bargains, so this was a bonus!
ReplyDeleteIf we all sent one CD to Op Home this week, his sales would double. lol. pogo
Bucky and IG2BU holding at #30 on R&R chart.
ReplyDeleteHey Marzy, Pogo and Anon! Marzy, thanks for the sales numbers--steady is very good, especially considering the CD came out in April. That means there's a nice healthy word of mouth buzz on it even now, and you have a good point about that bump as "It's Good to Be Us" makes its way up the chart.
ReplyDeletePogo, cool sale and for a great cause, too! That is lovely. :)
And thanks for the good news about "It's Good to be Us" holding steady at R&R this week, Anon--there is a lot of fan "wind beneath the wings" on this one for sure...we do love hearing it on the radio!
Dang! When is one of the Bucky and Eric match ups going to be near me???? lol I would kill to see my two faves together lol
ReplyDeleteHappy Thanksgiving Ms. Buckymania!
ReplyDeleteOne of the things I am grateful for this year is this fun, well-written blog to come to everyday to get the latest scoop on the Bucky! Thanks! :D
I would like to add my thankfulness for you Ms. Buckymania. IG2BU is #31 on Top 500 with 6 bulletless songs above; #31 on weighted with 9 bulletless songs above in the Top 30. Trying to put a good spin on this crazy chart action.
ReplyDeleteHi there--Kathy, you have a good question there! Bet a lot of us would love to see Bucky and Eric on the same night--hope it happens closer to us! :)
ReplyDeleteAnon, you are sweet! I am really thankful for the awesome friends I have met along the way (Bucky's got some amazingly cool supporters) and opportunity to blog about Bucky's blossoming career. It has been a thrill following his trip from "Wave on Wave" in the Idol semis to all of the incredible milestones and accomplishments he's enjoyed this year. Thank you so much for being here!
And Anon 6:52, a big thanks to you, too. My pleasure! The charts are crazy indeed--if we can just get past this Top 30 wildness I think we'll all breathe a big sigh of relief. We know we've got a great single to celebrate, and it really does sound excellent on the radio. Frustrating right now, but I think in the end we're going to be happy with how it does...
