Sunday news: Crook & Chase, TV today, a quiet interlude and more...

Bucky Covington and Caitlin Evanson on stage at the Wildhorse Saloon in Nashville, 11/17; this great shot was captured by our very talented friend Trish. Thank you so much, Trish! Bucky Covington's debut CD is in stores now, and his music videos are available for online viewing at CMT.com and Yahoo Music. You can buy Bucky's album at Amazon, Best Buy , iTunes, WalMart Music and Target, hear the full versions of his singles at CMT and GAC, or enjoy samples of songs from the CD at Bucky's official MySpace. A copy of Bucky Covington can be ordered at his official site or via his official fan club.

Thanks to Sunscreen for this sweet heads-up--Bucky will be part of today's syndicated Crook & Chase Country Countdown, airing at various times today in many markets. (It's one of those funny interview snippets before "It's Good to Be Us" is played, and it sounds like Bucky's not the only one who's done an impromptu mondegreen when it comes to Skynrd's best known song...)

Radiotime has a list of stations that carry the program, including streaming options; please note that Radiotime's default time zone is Central and adjust accordingly. And while you're at the Crook & Chase site, be sure to read the touching story of Kellie Pickler's meeting with a fan who felt a special connection to her hit "I Wonder".

Edited to add a note from a kind anon in commnets: "[Jason Michael Carroll] is interviewed on the Foxworthy Countdown today and Bucky comes up in the conversation." Click here for Radiotime's listings for the show, and happy listening!

Radio's not the only place to check out Bucky today--his red carpet interview and his presenter's gig with Luke Bryan and tourmate Jason Michael Carroll at this year's CMA Awards will be shown on CMT today from 2 to 5 p.m. ET and once more at 9 p.m. to 12 midnight ET. And of course, seeing Bucky's video for "It's Good to Be Us" is a TV treat-- watch the video at CMT, and give Bucky some affection on GAC's Top 20 Country Countdown, CMT's Top 20 Countdown, at the GAC Top 50 Videos of the Year poll and at CMT's Pure Country Pure 12-Pack if you'd like to enjoy that video eye candy a bit more often...

The Raisin' the Bar tour is on a mini-hiatus; Bucky, Jason and Cole will hit Lincoln, Nebraska next for a long-awaited show at Uncle Ron's on Wednesday, 11/28. We couldn't find an online ticket link at post time, but you can snag yours at The Fort Western Outfitters (903 Central Ave in Nebraska City), CD Warehouse, Hasting State Bank locations in Lincoln, or charge by phone at Uncle Ron's (474-2332). Froggy 98 is pretty enthusiastic about Bucky's first area show, too--listen in this weekend and you may have a chance to win your seats!

Here are those last sweet dates for this incredible tour--make plans to catch hot emerging country stars Bucky Covington, Jason Michael Carroll and Cole Deggs & the Lonesome in an intimate setting, and enjoy those bragging rights for years to come...

November 28 Uncle Ron's, Lincoln NE (402) 474-2332
November 30 Beaumont Club Kansas City, MO [TM]
December 1 Billy Bob’s Texas Fort Worth, TX [TM]
December 5 Northern Lights Clifton Park, NY [tickets]
December 6 Pepsi-Cola Roadhouse Burgettstown, PA [TM]
December 7 Crocodile Rock Café Allentown, PA [TM]
December 8 Rams Head Live! Baltimore, MD [tickets]

We'll close with a quick chart check--Bucky's new single is gracing the #32 notch on the weighted chart, where its wrestling match with a superstar continues; on the Top 500, it's #31 this morning. The good news is, as always, the plumpness of those buillets--definitely indicators of a good chart week ahead. Keep requesting "It's Good to Be Us" at your favorite local or streaming country station, and ask for a bit of Bucky on those local "Top X at X" countdowns and nationally syndicated country radio shows, too!

Finally, a note about Operation Home--there's now a permanent button link to the drive's MySpace on our sidebar, in the Friends section. Bookmark their page and find out more about this non-political/non-partisan effort to send music, supplies and a taste of home to servicemen and women overseas. (Thanks, Ogopogo.)

More soon!
