Sneaking in from work to post (updated)

By request, Bucky Covington smiles out at the crowd in this great shot from his show at Waverly Beach in Menasha, Wisconsin; photo by the very kind Midask9, who shares more of her images from the show here. Thanks so much--looks like it was a wild and wonderful night! Bucky Covington's debut CD is in stores now, and his music video for "A Different World" is available for online viewing at CMT.com and Yahoo Music. You can buy Bucky's album at Amazon, Best Buy , iTunes, WalMart Music and Target, hear the full version of his single "A Different World" at CMT and GAC, or enjoy samples of songs from the CD at Bucky's official MySpace. A copy of Bucky Covington can be ordered at his official site or via his official fan club.

Thanks to Laura for the heads-up on two upcoming Power Picks matchups! Bucky Covington's "It's Good to Be Us" will face challenges on both Monday's and Wednesday's CMT Power Picks at noon ET; bookmark this page and be ready this coming week's video competitions...

And if video's not enough to hold you, here are the remaining dates for the Raisin' the Bar tour, featuring Bucky Covington, Jason Michael Carroll and Cole Deggs & the Lonesome doin' what they all do best:

November 17 Wildhorse Saloon Nashville, TN [TM]
November 23 Coyote Joe’s Charlotte, NC [tickets]

For those who like to plan ahead (very far ahead!) tickets are also available for Countryfest 2008 in Cadott, Wisconsin. Bucky performs there on Friday, June 27th, and VIP Tickets and camping are available now by phone at 1-800-326-337. You can also snag tickets for the 2008 Sound and Speed event, which takes place on Jan. 11-12, 2008. They're available at Ticketmaster and at http://www.soundandspeed.org/. Tickets are $39.50 for the Alan Jackson concert, $20 for the festival, or $54.50 for both.

And of course, the 2008 Stagecoach Country Music Festival is the place to be out West this coming spring! Bucky's first performnace at Stagecoach is sure to be an event to remember. It'll happen May 3 and 4, 2008 in Indio, CA, and many different ticket packages are on sale now at Ticketmaster.com. (It's probably a good idea to hit the festival's website first--there are plenty of options to choose from, but the music is guaranteed to be fantastic no matter where you're sitting.)

I'll put the handy "reminder" bits right here: If you'd like Bucky's new single to be a part of your Saturday night drive, be sure to request "It's Good to Be Us" before you head out the door this evening. Chances are good that either Lia, The Big Time with Whitney Allen , Danny Wright All Night or the Bo Reynolds Show are playing on your local country station tonight--their sites all have handy contact information, and their shows reach the whole country. Let them know you're listening! And give Bucky some love at GAC's Top 20 Country Countdown, at CMT's Top 20 Countdown, at the GAC Top 50 Videos of the Year poll and at CMT's Pure Country Pure 12-Pack, too. (That sweepstakes we mentioned in the first post about the GAC Top 50 Videos of the Year Poll is now in progress, by the way. Click here to enter, and good luck--it'd be fun if one of Bucky's fans walked away with the big prize...)

Edited to add a link to Team Covington, where Kathy's got news about a conference call from tonight's concert in Nashville at the Wildhorse Saloon. If you're curious about how Bucky's bigger band will sound, this is one you won't want to miss! Head over there for the details now...

I'd better get back to work--but if you'll be at the Wildhorse tonight, I'll see you there. Have a beautiful day!
