On the charts, we're looking a bit of deja vu this morning--"It's Good to Be Us" is once again #36 on the Mediabase weighted chart and #34 on the Top 500, with two growing bullets. Yep, I'm going to post the usual nag....er, "encouragement" here--keep requesting Bucky's new one, y'all! We'll be polite and sweet...and dedicated. It's true that the video will give it a big boost when GAC and CMT have it on the air on a regular basis; radio deserves extra helping of Covingtonian goodness as well, and requesting "It's Good to Be Us" on your favorite nationally-syndicated country radio show is a good way to celebrate the newly nationally-televised (and very popular already!) music video. Not to mention how much fun it'll be to have the song in the Top 30 or better by the time Bucky strolls out to do his presenting duties on the CMA Awards telecast November 7th...
Bucky, Rocky, Don, Shaun and Hans will be strolling out on stage at the Texas Club in Baton Rouge tonight for a very good cause--their WYNK-sponsored show will benefit St. Jude's Children's Hospital. If you've got last-minute plans, check Ticketmaster for any remaining seats, and have a great time!
