A copy of Bucky Covington can be ordered through his official site or via his official fan club.(Edited to add a link to some fresh new concert video right up top: Jeano222 shares this great YouTube clip of a radiant Bucky performing "Back When We Were Gods" in Katy, Texas-- and she says there's more to come, so keep checking back. A hearty round of applause to Jeano222 for letting us in on the fun!)
Just a quick reminder about Monday's TV fare: Bucky Covington's video for "A Different World" will face a head- to-head challenge on today's CMT Power Picks, which begins at 12 noon ET; click here to go directly to the Power Picks main page. Bucky and Jason Michael Carroll's high-spirited Halloween visit to GAC's Top 20 Country Countdown repeats for the final time today at 10 a.m. ET. You can catch the video for Bucky's Top Five debut hit "A Diffferent World" on GAC at 6:49 a.m ET today (a nice way to wake up), then see his brand new one, "It's Good to Be Us" at 2:26 p.m. ET.
And of course, you can write in a vote for Bucky's new video any time on GAC's Top 20 Country Countdown ballot, or watch "It's Good to Be Us" online at GAC.com.
On the charts today, Bucky's newest single is moving up in the world--it's now #34 on the Mediabase weighted chart and rises to the #32 spot on the Top 500. Could "It's Good to Be Us" be well within the Top 30 in time for Bucky's introduction at the CMA Awards on 11/7? We'd like it that way! Keep requesting "It's Good to Be Us" at your favorite local or streaming country station, vote for it on your local "Top X at X' countdown, and call up your favorite syndicated show with a request this evening, too.
A very kind fan wrote with some news that I let slip by me in the flurry of information these past few days--Bucky's recent appearances in the "Top 5 at 6" at WKML have been accompanied by brief interview snippets! We're not sure if that's happening this week, but we are sure Bucky's latest is well worth our votes. Write WKML today at country@wkml.com with a request for "It's Good to Be Us" in the subject line--online listeners are welcome. Tune in tonight at 6 p.m. ET to see how he's faring in Fayetteville. (And my apologies to the generous fan who shared the info--it's much appreciated!)

Last night's Tulsa stop got some positive coverage in the local media; Fox 23's Justin Wilfon interviewed both Bucky and Jason, and you can check out what he had to say about two of country's hottest rising stars right here.
Finally, a repeat of last night's breaking news: Country legend Porter Wagoner, who many of us had the pleasure of hearing and seeing at the Grand Ole Opry in March, passed away on Sunday. Our condolences to his family and friends, and to his many fans. He will be greatly missed.
More news later today--Winnie
IG2BU: #32 on Top 500, #34 , weighted, on Mediabase.
ReplyDeleteI am so saddened by the death of this great country legend. How fortunate that many of us saw him perform just last March when we attended Bucky's Opry debut.
My mom just said to me the other day she thought this would coming soon. So sad. I am very glad I got the opportunity to see him this past march. I remember being little and my mom watching his show with Dolly Parton.
ReplyDeleteIt's beautiful that he was being recognized for his work and his legacy this year--he and Marty Stuart created that great album, and there was a retrospective/tribute that is scheduled for tomorrow in Nashville.
ReplyDeleteAnd it really was a pleasure to see him at the Opry back in March, wasn't it?
Power Pick against Toby Keith.
ReplyDeletehow did we do? i clicked my fingers off.
I was hoping it was his new video.
pogo
