Coffee break news: Las Vegas recap, Savannah Guitar Pull, and a GAC Top Twenty reminder...

Thanks, Hildi!A favorite shot! By many requests, Bucky Covington shoots a smile your way in this fun portrait taken in Jacksonville by the very gracious Hildi. Thanks so much for everything, Hildi!

Today's early morning excitement at the KWNR Birthday Breakfast was described in great style
by the very kind Galbecky, who shared her recap of the day at the AmericanIdol.com Bucky Covington fan thread. (Sounds like Bucky was a big hit in Las Vegas--hope he'll be spending a bit more time out West soon!)

And here's a little more detail about an upcoming event in Savannah, Georgia-- tickets for the Kix 96 Guitar Pull are on sale now. Join Bucky Covington, Jason Michael Carroll, and Jeff Bates for a stellar night of music! The Pull happens on Wednesday, November 14th at Savannah's historic Lucas Theatre, and reserved seating is $25; proceeds benefit St. Jude Children's Research Hospital. You can buy tickets by phone at 912-525-5050, online at the Trustees Theatre Box Office or in person at the Savannah College of Art and Design Box Office. (Many thanks to Melinda for the update.)

Last but most definitely not least, here's some exciting news that might have been lost in the shuffle this morning with all the Boulder Station thrills...so we'll repeat it right up top. From GAC's Top Twenty Country Countdown homepage--"Next week's episode will surely be one you don't want to miss as Bucky Covington and Jason Michael Carroll stop by for a visit." Mark your calendar! Bucky and Jason are a delight together--that's a whole lot of musical Carolina sunshine for one stage to handle...

More soon!

I am learning so much here. I have heard of tractor pulls but a guitar pull is a new one to me. :-) Hi!!

  2. Hi, Dina! I am going to take a wild guess and say that it's unlikely any literal pulling of guitars is involved... ;)

  4. Hi, Anon, and thanks--sorry I missed you earlier! The acoustic show sounds like a winner--those of us who remember the GAC Christmas tour with fondness would love to be in Savannah for this pull. Glad you were able to get a good answer from the station!
