Professional photographer Mike Clifton of Local Sports Online was on hand for Bucky Covington's concert at Wild Bill's in Atlanta in June, and his stunning gallery of shots from the show is an absolute must-see. Thanks again to Mr. Clifton for his incredible images--his contact info is available at the gallery link, and his beautiful work speaks for itself. Enjoy! Bucky Covington's debut CD is in stores now, and his music video is available for online viewing at CMT.com and Yahoo Music. You can buy Bucky's album at Amazon, Best Buy , iTunes, WalMart Music and Target, hear the full version of his single "A Different World" at CMT and GAC, or enjoy samples of songs from the CD at Bucky's official MySpace.Due to an unexpected real-life work-related crisis (sigh) I'll be gone for most of the day; look for a sweep of all the Tuesday news tonight, right here in this spot. Bucky's new single, "It's Good to Be Us", is lookin' good this morning at #39 on the Mediabase weighted chart and #40 on the Top 500, with bullets on both (keep requesting, y'all!), and a video shoot for the song is happening tonight in Bowling Green, KY. If you'll be there, have a fantastic time--and do come back and tell us all about it! (And if any major news breaks, please feel free to share your big scoop in comments, and I'll post your update on the main page the moment I return.)
Update, 11 p.m.: Bucky's new single held the same positions on the Mediabase charts this afternoon, and as of post time (about 11 pm ET), the video shoot in Bowling Green is still in progress. Bucky's presence in the city was quite a media event--WBKO covered the video shoot for their newscast this evening, and you'll find an article and video right here. (Among the fun facts: Bucky wasn't permitted to do his own motocross stunts, although he and Rocky definitely have some experience with the sport. "They won't let me do anything, they won't even let me crank a motorcycle up. I can't blame them a bit because every time I crank a bike up something happens," Bucky told the reporter.)
Updated again to pass along a bit of news from RockyCovington.com--if you're one of the many photographers who captured great images of Rocky during the tour, here's your chance to share your talents:
During the winter months we will be updating the website with some new pictures. If you have any you would like considered for inclusion, email them to admin@rockycovington.com with Rocky Pictures in the subject line. (By emailing, you give permission for your pictures to be used on the website.)
I'll be back on Wednesday morning--see you then!--Winnie
