Tuesday news: a quiet moment, ticket buzz, chartgazing and more...

(Taking a moment to reflect, and to honor the memories of those we lost six years ago today.)

Bucky Covington prepares to do some hip-shakin' on stage at the KNCI Country in the Park concert in Sacramento; photo by the very talented Minnie, who shares more of her beautiful images from the performance in this must-see Photobucket gallery. Thanks again, Minnie! Bucky Covington's debut CD is in stores now, and his music video is available for online viewing at CMT.com and Yahoo Music. You can buy Bucky's album at Amazon, Best Buy , iTunes, WalMart Music and Target, hear the full version of his single "A Different World" at CMT and GAC, or enjoy samples of songs from the CD at Bucky's official MySpace. A copy of Bucky Covington can be ordered through his official site or via his official fan club.

It's a quiet Tuesday, so far--Bucky is enjoying some well-deserved downtime, and the Mediabase charts are giving us a bit of deja vu this morning. Bucky's new single "It's Good to Be Us" starts the day on Tuesday where it finished on Monday--#52 on the weighted chart, and #50 on the Top 500 --but the chart positions only tell part of the story. Country Aircheck reported last night that the song was the third-most added single of the day at country radio, and if you've been checking out Yes.com, you've seen it pop up all over the place, especially in the evenings. Want to help Bucky hop into the Top 50 on both charts soon? Put in a request for "It's Good to Be Us" at your favorite local or streaming country station, and hang on tight--the buzz around Bucky's new single is excellent, and it looks like we're in for a wild and wonderful ride...

Of course, the big live-concert buzz this fall is centered around that exciting Raisin' the Bar tour, with Bucky, Jason Michael Carroll and Cole Deggs & the Lonesome joining forces to rock some delightfully intimate venues across the country. We've had a few inquiries about tickets here at Buckymania--I'll be working on that expanded schedule with venue links later today, and I promise to let you know when that's fully assembled and ready to go. One thing's for sure--this will be a seriously sought-after ticket, y'all. The venues are cozy, the fans are passionate, and the acts are mega-hot! Stay tuned--we'll gather as much information as possible to help you get up close and personal with Bucky, Jason and Cole this fall...

We'll wrap up this quiet morning with a repeat link to Minnie's beautiful Sacramento photos. A kind commenter just mentioned that those who looked last night will enjoy a second look today--she's added more great shots to the gallery! Big thanks to Minnie and to all the generous photographers who've shared the fun of Bucky's first summer tour as a rising country star.

More soon!
