We'll start things off with a heads-up about yet another Power Picks all-night voting party--looks like the final matchup of today's show (on CMT, 12 noon to 1 p.m. ET) will feature Bucky's video for "A Different World" in the final lineup, with the winning video kicking off Wednesday's show. Click here to go directly to the Power Picks main page and near the top of the our hit the "Vote Now" button when you see Bucky's smiling face. If you like, keep that voting window open and mouse-click whenever you can, then tune in tomorrow to see who got that kick-off spot...
Bucky and the band are taking a few days off--they spent their Labor Day weekend laboring at what they love best (as this short piece by Neil Haislop points out) but come Friday, the tour bus starts rolling again--this'll be a wild week, with shows in Kentucky, Ohio, and way out in Sacramento! Here's the scoop on the upcoming Fergie's show on Friday:

As always, we'll point you in the direction of our September Concert Roundup post for more links and info about Bucky's upcoming shows, and for Bucky's very full fall-winter concert schedule and meet and greet news, be sure to bookmark the tour page on Bucky's official site.

If your station isn't among the early-adopters helpfully listed on the the BuckyCovingtonFans MySpace blog, never fear--it's always appropriate to let them know you love hearing Bucky on the air, so call to request "A Different World". There is excitement at radio about Bucky, and about "It's Good to Be Us", y'all! Keep listening to your local country station--you might be hearing the new tune sooner than you think. (And if you'd like to hear it on WKML-Fayetteville's stream tonight, be sure to let them know via email at country@wkml.com--they are out-of-towner friendly, and their "Top 5 at 6" is always a fun way to wind down the day...)
We'll close for now with a hearty hello to Kathy over at Team Covington--hop over there now for a reminder about this week's upcoming GAC Riverfront Concert Series special and more. Good to see you, Kathy!
More soon--have a great Tuesday!
