Bucky Covington and Mark Miller of Sawyer Brown share sunny California smiles on stage at the KNCI Country in the Park concert in Sacramento earlier this month; awesome photo by Minnie, posted by special request. You can enjoy more of her beautiful images from the performance in this gorgeous Photobucket gallery. Thanks so much, Minnie! Bucky Covington's debut CD is in stores now, and his music video for "A Different World" is available for online viewing at CMT.com and Yahoo Music. You can buy Bucky's album at Amazon, Best Buy , iTunes, WalMart Music and Target, hear the full version of his single "A Different World" at CMT and GAC, or enjoy samples of songs from the CD at Bucky's official MySpace. A copy of Bucky Covington can be ordered at his official site or via his official fan club.Got a question for Bucky Covington? If you're hanging out at a blog called Buckymania, it's safe to bet that the answer is a resounding yes! Luckily for all of us, Bucky's in a question-answering mood--and he's looking for a few from you. From his official MySpace blog:
For those of you that have been on the friend list for a while.. back in April a questions blog was started. As time permits, new sets of questions will be answered and posted here on MySpace.
The next set of 10 questions will be posted one a day starting on October 2nd.
Post any questions you have (as a comment here) and you may get to hear the answer to YOUR question!
Sounds like fun, yes? Head over there now for details, as well as links to past Q&A features with his MySpace friends, Mrs. Jones, and CMT. Hope your question is among those answered this fall! And of course, if you haven't added Bucky Covington as a MySpace friend, now's the time. He's got one of the most active artist MySpaces on the 'net--join the party, already! (Today's also the last day for voting in the very popular banner contest there--be sure to choose your favorite fan-created graphic soon.)
But wait, there's more! Pop over to RockyCovington.com and leave a question in his guestbook; he'll be answering questions too, in a brand new Q&A that will be featured on his site soon. Rocky's site is also looking for a few good photos by you:
During the winter months we will be updating the website with some new pictures. If you have any you would like considered for inclusion, email them to admin@rockycovington.com with Rocky Pictures in the subject line. (By emailing, you give permission for your pictures to be used on the website.)
We've seen some beautiful shots out and about...can't wait to enjoy them on Rocky's site! Kudos to the Covington brothers for making things fun for their many online fans.
If you'd like to enjoy that fun live, Bucky, Don, Shaun, Hans and Rocky are more than happy to help you out. Today, they'll be playing the Big Spring Jam in Huntsville--they're set to take the stage at approximately 5:45 p.m. local time, and it looks like this one will be covered by a conference call, courtesy of Hildi and company. If you're a fan club member, check the Road sub-forum at Bucky's official site for more details. (We'll try to have the numbers and info posted for you here, as well.) Tomorrow, the tour bus makes its final stop in Ohio for 2007. (I won't be there, but I'll be with y'all in spirit...)

A quick chart check: "It's Good to Be Us" is gracing the Mediabase charts at #39 on both the weighted and Top 500 listings, with bullets. It's also gracing the Top 40 Country blog at Live Journal this morning--the writer gives the new tune a very positive review, calling it "Another great song by Bucky" and noting that "Bucky takes his crack at his first country love song and makes a great move by staying away from the sappy and sticking with the upbeat feel." Keep requesting "It's Good to Be Us" at your favorite local or streaming country station, and you'll be enjoying some positive reviews from your neighbors and friends, too...
More soon--have a wonderful Sunday!
