Thursday news: Power Picks, Turning Stone, Idol camp, and more...

Click image to check for concert ticket availability at Ticketmaster.com. Bucky Covington appears at the Turning Stone Resort and Casino tomorrow night, July 27th; tickets are available at Ticket- master.com. Bucky Covington's debut CD is in stores now, and his music video is available for online viewing at CMT.com and Yahoo Music. You can buy Bucky's album at Amazon, Best Buy , iTunes, WalMart Music and Target, hear the full version of his single "A Different World" at CMT and GAC, or enjoy samples of songs from the CD at Bucky's official MySpace. An autographed copy of Bucky Covington can be ordered while supplies last at his official site or via his official fan club.

Bucky's video for "A Different World" will face a head- to-head challenge on CMT's Power Picks, which begins at 12 noon ET; click here to go directly to the Power Picks main page. Bucky's matchup will happen about mid-show show, so at noon, hit the "Vote Now" button, keep that voting window open and get ready to mouse-click away...

Bucky's busy summer concert sweep resumes tomorrow, when he, Rocky, Don, Shaun and Hans are set to rock the showroom at the Turning Stone Resort and Casino in Verona, New York. You might still be able to snag a last-minute seat at Ticketmaster.com; and if you haven't seen Bucky's official tour schedule lately, look again. Many new dates have just been added--chances are even better now that he'll be headed your way very soon...

The talented youngsters at this summer's very first Idol Camp are in for a great experience today--Bucky is set to visit the camp to hold what's sure to be a fun Q&A session (wouldn't you like to be a fly on the wall for that one!) and a performance for the attendees.

The Mediabase charts are in this morning, and."A Different World" starts Thursday at #6 on the weighted chart and #7 on the Top 500. Could that next milestone--a sweet Top Five spot--be hours away? We can help make it happen! Keep requesting "A Different World" at your favorite local and streaming country stations, keep voting for Bucky on your "local "Top X at X" and asking for "A Different World" on those lovely nationally syndicated radio shows, and keep supporting Bucky's gorgeous video at CMT's Top 20 Countdown and GAC's Top Twenty Country Countdown, too. (One thing's for sure--when it comes to applause, Bucky Covington's got some dedicated listeners who know how to make it count...)

The other big weekly charts--Billboard's Top Country Albums and Hot Country Songs--are available today. Bucky's single is a beautiful #7 on the latter, and Bucky Covington keeps its "top twelve" streak going on the album listings with a #12 position this week. (The new Radio & Records/BDS singles chart is posted for your viewing pleasure as well, just in case you'd like to see that bulleted #7 in all its official glory.)

We'll close for now with a reminder about this weekend's upcoming American Country Countdown; you can enjoy Bucky with Kix Brooks on the next edition of the syndicated show. (Thanks, Kellie!) And if you haven't done so already, be sure to enter the drawing for a guitar signed by Bucky, courtesy of the fine folks at the Blair Garner Show; hop over here for details, and good luck!

More soon--c'mon back...

  2. Awww--thanks, Dina! :D

Yep, Power Picks didn't go so well today. (For the record, "Don't Make Me" by Blake Shelton was the winner, with 54% of the vote if I'm not mistaken.)

But yes, Bucky's single and album are incredibly hot on the charts! He's got a whole bunch of proud fans and happy listeners this summer, and the album's chock full of good stuff...

It's good to see you--thanks for stopping in and hopping on my "computah" a while!
