Quick Tuesday update: chart gazing and more...

T. you're right--looks like a happy dance! Thanks for your request. By request, Bucky Covington on stage May 10th at the Wildhorse Saloon in Nashville; visit Music City Update for a beautiful gallery of concert photos by Aaron Crisler. Bucky Covington's debut CD is in stores now, and his music video is available for online viewing at CMT.com and Yahoo Music. You can buy Bucky's album at Amazon, Best Buy , iTunes, WalMart Music and Target, hear the full version of his single "A Different World" at CMT and GAC, or enjoy samples of songs from the CD at Bucky's official MySpace. An autographed copy of Bucky Covington can be ordered while supplies last at his official site or via his official fan club. Photo by Aaron Crisler/ Music City Update.com

It's a bit quiet on this day-before-the 4th, but there's still a little pre-holiday chart news out there:

Bucky's "A Different World" starts off the day in that same tantalizing spot it occupied yesterday morning--it's #11 on the Mediabase weighted chart and the Top 500 charts, with two healthy bullets. The Top Ten watch is getting more suspenseful by the hour, y'all--how soon will we be able to break out the happy dance? (Feel free to help hasten the day by requesting Bucky at your favorite local and streaming country stations, and remember to stop in at CMT's Top 20 Countdown and GAC's Top Twenty Country Countdown to show Bucky's video some affection.)

Hits Daily Double fires up its rolling album sales estimates at approximately 7:30 a.m. Pacific; with the final results coming later today. (As of 9:30 a.m. ET, with about half of the reports in, Bucky's beginning his day at #42 on their all-genre chart. Stay tuned and check back often--Tuesday is always full of surprises at HDD!) Billboard's Top Country Albums list makes its appearance online later this week, and we'll keep you posted on the very latest.

The touring excitement starts up again tomorrow with Bucky's free all-ages poolside concert at the Silverton Casino, sponsored by KYCE 103.4 Coyote Country in Las Vegas--head over to the station's site for more details, grab that beach blanket, and have a fantastic time!

We'll have a full post for you here later today--in the meantime, enjoy those pre-holiday preparations. See you very soon!--Winnie

  1. Hope your holiday is shaping up well! I am off to pick up a swingset (to which you may hear Ira cussing in Cleveland as he attempts to assemble it)and get ready for the barbeque tomorrow. Sure wish we were closer to Vegas!

  2. LOL--I hope it's easier than Ira thinks. (I remember hearing my dad curse for the very first time when he put ours together, many moons ago...)

Have a great weekend and if Bucky and the band do the 4th in La Vegas next year, we are there!

Don't know if this has ever been posted before. I just noticed that they finally added the All Music Guide review on Bucky's iTunes page. Another excellent review.
