Quick Tuesday news: Opry reminder, the Daily Bucky, and more...

Please click the image to view a full size version. Thanks so much to the_mumbler! Don Medlock (on bass), Hans Nelson (on keyboards) and Bucky Covington rock the crowd at last week's Lycoming County Fair; photo courtesy of the_mumbler, who shares more great shots--and videos--from the concert here. (Thanks again!) Please click the image to enjoy it in its full-size splendor. Bucky Covington's debut CD is in stores now, and his music video is available for online viewing at CMT.com and Yahoo Music. You can buy Bucky's album at Amazon, Best Buy, iTunes , WalMart Music and Target, hear the full version of his single "A Different World" at CMT and GAC, or enjoy samples of songs from the CD at Bucky's official MySpace. An autographed copy of Bucky Covington can be ordered while supplies last at his official site or via his official fan club.

We covered quite a bit of Tuesday's news late Monday night, so here's a very quick look at the rest of what's happening today:

The morning Mediabase reports are in, and while the sweet spot Bucky occupies there hasn't changed ("A Different World" is #10 on on both the Mediabase weighted and Top 500 charts), a closer look at the weighted listings reveals a big opportunity for some upward movement. Keep requesting "A Different World" at your favorite local and streaming country stations, y'all! Bucky is well on his way to Top Five status--and we may be able to get him up one to "top nine"very soon with some extra phone calls and emails. Calling in lunchtime requests, voting in your local "Top X at X" countdowns, and emailing or calling your favorite evening syndicated country radio show helps a lot.

(Click the image to vote for Bucky Covington in the second round of the AboutCountry "Album of the Year" poll, now through July 23rd. Vote as often as you like.)

There's plenty of voting happening online, as well! As noted late last night, Bucky made it through to the second round of the AboutCountry "Album of the Year" poll with a substantial percentage of the vote, and the polling is once again in progress. Click the button to above or stop in here to give Bucky a boost at About.com; you can vote as often as you like. (And while you're clicking, show Bucky some love at CMT's Top 20 Countdown and GAC's Top Twenty Country Countdown, too...)

The rolling album sales estimates at Hits Daily Double start up at approximately 7:30 a.m. Pacific, with the final results posted later this afternoon. (From the looks of things, this could be a relatively quiet week on the charts for everyone.) Look forBillboard's Top Country Albums chart on Thursday for the full scoop.

And here are two essential radio and TV reminders--check your local cable listings for tonight's Grand Ole Opry Live encore performance on GAC, featuring Bucky's televised Opry debut in April, and tune in Sirius Satellite Radio's New Country channel 60 for "The Daily Bucky" at 9 p.m. ET. Bucky does an interview snippet and an acoustic song during these fantastically fun (and musically awesome) segments--definitely a must-hear.

Last but not least, a clarification and an apology to two of Bucky's kind fans who shared their memories of his Warsaw, Indiana show this weekend! A commenter let me know that I mistakenly mixed up the credits for Buckaholic and Buckybaby01's photos and recaps. I'd like to thank both very generous ladies for sharing their exciting day with all of us in words and images.

More soon--see you later today. Have a beautiful Tuesday!
