NASCAR '08 and Bucky Covington...

Pull over at the Bucky Truck Stop today, where Sunscreen's just posted some very cool news about this year's NASCAR '08 racing game soundtrack, featuring music from Velvet Revolver, Big & Rich, Jason Aldean, Black Rebel Motorcycle Club, and Bucky Covington. ("Empty Handed" is the track chosen for the game.) From the press release:

"NASCAR 08 puts gamers behind the wheel with a soundtrack that puts the pedal to the floor," said Steve Schnur, Worldwide Executive of Music and Marketing at EA. "Today's NASCAR has 75 million of the most brand-loyal fans in all of sports, and any music mix must be a real reflection of true NASCAR culture. It's more than country. It's bigger than rock. This soundtrack is 100% cars 'n' guitars adrenaline that will blow gamers' doors off."

You can read the whole press release (and enjoy the very stylish game cover art) at the Truck Stop now. Congratulations, Bucky!

I think we need to do another "vote in" If we were able to rack up over 3000 votes in an hour imagine what we could do in 2. This vote ends Monday and CY keeps jumping ahead by alot.

  3. Hey, sorry I missed you yesterday! Kathy, that sounds like a wonderful birthday dinner (a riverfront restaurant--so romantic!) And hee at the "mom gift"--it's funny, though, all that nice-smelling pampering stuff does have a way of getting used eventually. :) Glad you had a great day!

And hi, Anon--I'm pretty late finding these comments, but I agree with you. We did another this evening and we'll probably do a couple more as well. Every vote helps, whether it's a powervoting thing or just spread out during the course of the day. Thanks!
