Coffee break news (photos and a bit of video, too...)

Happydays and my4frogs brought their cameras along for yesterday's WSOC Redneck Yacht Club listener appreciation cruise, and the results are a blast! Enjoy Happydays' great 4-page Photobucket album of shots from the show, and curl up with my4frogs' newly-posted video of Bucky Covington, Don Medlock and Shaun Bayles performing "Hometown" to the lucky listeners on the voyage. Thanks again for the great memories!

And here's a sweet glimpse of one of country's newest hitmakers greeting an ever newer hitmaker-to-be. Anthony Gargiula, a very talented 8-year old country singer, was a featured performer at the recent WGNA Countryfest, and he and his family share a wonderful story--and a priceless photo--of Anthony's meeting with Bucky on Anthony's blog. (Awwww...)

(Edited to add a link to the Bucky Truck Stop at Rawkhands, where Sunscreen has posted even more photos of the WGNA Countryfest sweetness. See you later today--Winnie)

Did you look at the weighted chart?? Kenny & Keith have lost their bullets. And Big & Rich are dropping too. If Bucky can hold on to his BIG BULLET we could see #3. Im excited just thinking about it. *lol*
REQUESTS are more important now more than ever~

  3. Wow--that p.m. chart is looking ripe with opportunity, isn't it? I agree--requests are going to be a big part of the picture from here on in. The sky's the limit... :)

Anon 1:52, it's so cute...they both look delighted!

  7. Thank you to Bucky and Buckymania for posting the comment about Little Anthony and Bucky at Countryfest on July 14th in Altamont , New York sponsored by radio station WGNA. Anthony is an 8 year old singer who loves country music and American Idol. Of course his two favorites are Kellie Pickler and Bucky. Anthony sang the National Anthem to open the show infront of the 28,000 screaming country fans. After he was done we were walking down the stairs of the stage and ran right into the next performer...none other than the awesome Bucky Covington!!!! Bucky talked to Anthony for about 15 minutes, took numerous pictures and of course a ton of autographs. Anthony gave Bucky a business card and asked for one of his. Bucky left them in the bus and promised Anthony he'd give him one after Bucky did his set. Of the 5 performers that day, Bucky was the best. The crowd loved him!!! After Bucky was done, he found us back stage and said to Anthony, "Let me get you that business card now." He took Anthony on a tour of his bus and we got the business card. It was the thrill of a lifetime for this budding 8 year old country star. Bucky gave Anthony a taste of what being a country star was like and he liked what he saw. Now Anthony hopes that in the very near future he will be discovered. Anthony and his 11 year old brother Louis have written and recorded 3 original songs including "Come Back To Me Now" which was inspired by Kellie Pickler's ordeal with her Mom.

Thank you Bucky and Buckymania for all you have done for this excited 8 year old and his very grateful family
