AboutCountry 6 p.m. "vote-in"

Click Bucky's CD cover at right to go to the About Country Awards poll page, then cast your vote for Bucky Covington as 2007's "Album of the Year". How many votes can Bucky's passionate fans rack up in an hour? (Edited with results: Bucky picked up 5529 votes and a crucial percentage point to take the lead with 44% of the vote at 7 p.m. ET. Our fingers are sore, but our faces are smiling...awesome job, everyone!)

The poll continues until Monday, July 23rd, so feel free to hit that link and give Bucky a boost anytime. We'll do another "vote-in" again this weekend.

And of course, the "request-in" is always in progress at your local country station...ahem.

(P.S.--Thanks again to Rachel for this awesome idea!)

  5. It'll be back and forth all weekend long, I am sure--the main thing is that we are voting like crazy overall, whether it's powervoting for an hour or spread out over the next day and a half or so. We are in it to win it, y'all. (One thing's for sure--these two guys have some very devoted fans. Both Chris and Bucky are blessed performers! :)

And at the risk of sounding like a skipping CD (who am I kidding? It's way too late for that warning ;) as fun as online polls are, Bucky's progress on Mediabase is what really matters this week--and he's doing fantastically well there. It sure would be fun for him to have a great week at Mediabase and About.com!

So Ms. Buckymania...that was not crystal clear...were you implying we should request ADW at our local radio stations and perhaps the syndicated radio shows as well? Just wondering. hahaha
