Weekend update, and a little hiatus--see you in a few days...

Thanks again, Minnie! Shaun Bayles and Bucky Covington play dueling guitars at a recent outdoor show in Turlock, CA; click here to enjoy a beautiful set of concert photos by the very kind Minnie, who took all the great shots in this post. Bucky Covington's debut CD is in stores now, and his music video is available for online viewing at CMT.com and Yahoo Music. You can buy Bucky's album at Amazon, Best Buy , iTunes, WalMart Music and Target, hear the full version of his single "A Different World" at CMT and GAC, or enjoy samples of songs from the CD at Bucky's official MySpace. An autographed copy of Bucky Covington can be ordered while supplies last at his official site or via his official fan club.

Click to visit RockyCovington.comTonight, there will be a conference call from Bucky's concert at Wild Bill's in Atlanta at about 9:15 p.m. ET or so, hosted by Happydays. Unfortunately, it's very likely that I'll be on my way out of town this evening and unable to post the exact times to call, but all the info you'll need will be available at Bucky's thread on the Fox boards, and on the Chit-Chat folder at the BuckyCovington.com forums. (Keep in mind that regular long distance charges will apply; if you have free nights and weekends, though, you're good to go.) Enjoy, and thanks to Happydays and crew.

There's word tonight that "A Different World" has been retired from the CMT Pure Country Pure 12 Pack ballot, effective this week-- no one can say that Bucky didn't have a great run on the show! We'll keep supporting his soon to be Top Ten single at CMT's Top 20 Countdown and GAC's Top Twenty Country Countdown, and we'll look forward to jumping back into the 12 Pack groove when single #2 rolls around...

Click to visit Don Medlock's MySpaceSpeaking of "rolling" (okay, weak segue, I know), tomorrow Bucky's tour bus rolls into Iowa for a show at the Wapello County Fair with Sawyer Brown. And this weekend, Bucky and I have something in common; I just got an offer I couldn't afford to refuse for a fun work-related bit of travel, so I'll be "on tour" myself in a couple of hours-- unfortunately, with little-to-no internet access. Buckymania will be on hiatus for the next few days, but naturally, the news will keep on...er, rolling.

Be sure to visit BuckyCovington.com, Team Covington, the Bucky Truck Stop at Rawkhands, the Bucky Covington fan thread at the Fox boards, CMT, the BuckyCovingtonFans MySpace and Bucky's official MySpace blog for all the latest happenings. (And there are plenty of additional news sources on the sidebar, too...)

Click to visit Hans Nelson's MySpaceA kind visitor who commented on the previous post made mention of how much fun it was to see a certain band member's photo in the press-- and Minnie's beautiful Turlock, CA concert shots are a perfect way of spreading that joy. (Thanks to our unknown commenter for the inspiration--Bucky, Rocky, Shaun, Hans and Don deserve a round of applause!) And if you'd like another great graphic to gaze upon, check out the poster for tonight's Wild Bill's show at Team Covington right now.

I'll try to check in and check email during the next few mornings if possible-- until then, have a great weekend, enjoy the music, keep requesting, wish me luck with the cyber-kiosks (yes, someday I will purchase a 21st century laptop), and I'll see you soon!--Winnie
