It's a serene but happy Saturday--Bucky's dental surgery (reportedly on his wisdom teeth) went well, and as of this post it looks like he, Rocky, Don, Shaun and Hans will be rockin' the stage at the Carl Perkins Civic Center in Jackson TN as scheduled tomorrow evening. There may be some tickets still available here--hope you'll be there!
A quick look at Mediabase shows "A Different World" holding firm at #12 on the weighted chart, and #13 on the Top 500. With two hits dropping from their #1 peaks, there's a lot of good-looking chart ground up for grabs--be sure to request "A Different World" at your favorite local and streaming country stations before heading out to the beach, the mall, or wherever this beautiful summer Saturday takes you. (And remember to give the video a little love at CMT's Top 20 Countdown and GAC's Top Twenty Country Countdown, too..)

Finally, a truly cool link especially for our international readers--and for all of Bucky's fans who love the idea of him being a global hitmaker. The European Country Music Association site features tons of charts and stats from all over the EU, including airplay charts by country. Bucky's "A Different World" is listed as the #1 most played country song in the Netherlands, #2 on their overall airplay list for the week (scroll to end of page), and #9 in the United Kingdom. Bucky's rockin' the world, y'all! The ECMA also has a Yahoo group--a fun destination for the globally minded country music fan.
