Wednesday news: get well wishes, a quick chart update and technical difficulties...

Thanks, Mr. Crisler! Bucky Covington and Good Morning America's Sam Champion share a smile during the show's stop in Nashville on 6/7. Bucky Covington's debut CD is in stores now, and his music video is available for online viewing at and Yahoo Music. You can buy Bucky's album at Amazon, Best Buy , iTunes, WalMart Music and Target, hear the full version of his single "A Different World" at CMT and GAC, or enjoy samples of songs from the CD at Bucky's official MySpace. An autographed copy of Bucky Covington can be ordered while supplies last at his official site or via his official fan club. (Photo by Aaron Crisler/Music City

We're all sending get well wishes and good vibrations to
Bucky Covington, who had to cancel tomorrow's appearance at the Kissin' 92 Listener Appreciation Concert in Boise due to emergency dental surgery. Sawyer Brown, Rodney Atkins and Memarie will still be performing as scheduled. Here's to a speedy recovery, Bucky!

While we're waiting for word on how Bucky's doing, here's a quick look at the charts:

"A Different World" is holding on tight to the the #13 spot on the Mediabase weighted and Top 500 charts this evening, and it's moved up a notch on this week's Radio & Records/BDS Country singles charts, to #15 with a bullet. (Keep requesting Bucky at your favorite local and streaming country stations, y'all!) According to this post at the CMT message boards, the song may have fallen out of the CMT Top 20 Countdown this week--but it's still on the ballot there and at GAC's Top Twenty Country Countdown, too. (I'd say that's an invitation from both channels to keep on voting--not to mention a lovely way of showing support.)

And tomorrow, of course, Billboard's Top Country Albums chart is officially released; it's a safe bet that Bucky Covington will continue its "Top 12-ish" streak there this week...

(I've been offline for most of the day with a badly malfunctioning computer--with any luck, I'll catch up with the rest of today's news and bring it right back here for you later on. Thanks for bearing with me, and have a great night!--Winnie)

I left a comment in the previous last post

  2. Sending you computer mojo and Bucky get well wishes!

  3. You and me both--I feel bad for him, having to deal with that in the middle of a busy tour. Hoping he is on the mend, feeling better and back on stage very soon.

(As for the PC mojo--thank you! Honestly, sometimes I think this thing is held together with duct tape and prayer... :)

And thanks, Anon! Will check out your post in a moment. :)
