We're all sending get well wishes and good vibrations to Bucky Covington, who had to cancel tomorrow's appearance at the Kissin' 92 Listener Appreciation Concert in Boise due to emergency dental surgery. Sawyer Brown, Rodney Atkins and Memarie will still be performing as scheduled. Here's to a speedy recovery, Bucky!
While we're waiting for word on how Bucky's doing, here's a quick look at the charts:
"A Different World" is holding on tight to the the #13 spot on the Mediabase weighted and Top 500 charts this evening, and it's moved up a notch on this week's Radio & Records/BDS Country singles charts, to #15 with a bullet. (Keep requesting Bucky at your favorite local and streaming country stations, y'all!) According to this post at the CMT message boards, the song may have fallen out of the CMT Top 20 Countdown this week--but it's still on the ballot there and at GAC's Top Twenty Country Countdown, too. (I'd say that's an invitation from both channels to keep on voting--not to mention a lovely way of showing support.)
And tomorrow, of course, Billboard's Top Country Albums chart is officially released; it's a safe bet that Bucky Covington will continue its "Top 12-ish" streak there this week...
(I've been offline for most of the day with a badly malfunctioning computer--with any luck, I'll catch up with the rest of today's news and bring it right back here for you later on. Thanks for bearing with me, and have a great night!--Winnie)

ReplyDeleteSending you computer mojo and Bucky get well wishes!
ReplyDeleteYou and me both--I feel bad for him, having to deal with that in the middle of a busy tour. Hoping he is on the mend, feeling better and back on stage very soon.
ReplyDelete(As for the PC mojo--thank you! Honestly, sometimes I think this thing is held together with duct tape and prayer... :)
And thanks, Anon! Will check out your post in a moment. :)
