Friday night in Allentown...

Bucky Covington performs Friday night at the Crocodile Rock Cafe in Allentown as part of Cat Country 96's tenth-year anniversary celebration. From the venue's site: "Tickets can only be won from Cat Country or day of show." (Yep, there seems to be a verb missing in that sentence; we're guessing the word "purchased" was meant to go between "or" and "day".) If you're in the listening area, keep it tuned to WCTO for the latest word and your shot at free tickets. However, there seems to be a ticket-purchase form right here on the Crocodile Rock's website right now--it'll cost you $15 plus a convenience fee, and you can pick up your tickets at will call. This should be an excellent show, by the way--Bucky's "special guests" will be Whiskey Falls and Cole Deggs and the Lonesome. If you can get there, be there! (And if you're listening to snag free tickets, a request for "A Different World" is always a winning suggestion...)

Edited to add a repeat photo link for those who might have missed it--these stunning professional concert photos by Mike Clifton of Local Sports Online were taken at Bucky's show at Wild Bill's in Atlanta last weekend. If you've been wondering what a live Bucky Covington performance looks like, these shots are worth a thousand words. Enjoy the photos, snag your tickets, and have a fantastic time! More later--Winnie
