Bucky and Rocky Covington are featured in a WKRN video news story about this weekend's music-filled activities in Nashville's Riverfront area. (Definitely the place to be for the next few days!) Bucky's also appearing on the local Tennessee Mornings show with Melinda Doolittle in a few hours; if you're in the Nashville area, scroll down to yesterday's news post for full details, then take a nap and hit the Wildhorse Saloon at 5:30 a.m. for a five song set from Bucky and a lot of fun! After that, Bucky heads out to Seattle for two shows--one at 5 p.m., one at 9--on Saturday night with Neal McCoy; the concerts are sponsored by KMPS.

Those of us who won't be there will still get a chance to enjoy a little interaction with Bucky, via MySpace--his first question for his MySpace friends should appear on his blog there later today. (If you haven't already added Bucky to your friends list, be sure to check out his profile and join the fun today.)

As of this post, Bucky's single "A Different World" was--you guessed it--#19 on the Mediabase weighted and Top 500 charts. However, we should be in for a chart shakeup in the next few days, as many mature hits go recurrent. Now's the perfect time to call up your local country station and request Bucky. (Actually, it's always the perfect time--but it's especially helpful this week, when there's so much prime chart space up for grabs...)

And feel free to give Bucky a boost in the video countdowns, too--the CMT Pure 12-Pack and GAC Top Twenty ballots await your votes. Yesterday, Bucky's video for "A Different World" jumped up to #4 on this week's CMT Top 20 Countdown--a nice way to start off the weekend. After voting, how about a fun bit of reading? The Palm Beach Post's country music writer Janis Fontaine had some very complimentary things to say about Bucky's debut album...and his hair. (Thanks, Buckyflowers.)

Just a reminder: Bucky's video is also one of the contenders during today's CMT Power Picks video-challenge show--he'll appear in the fifth matchup this afternoon. The program starts at noon ET; click here to go directly to the Power Picks main page, hit the "Vote Now" button, and stand by to cast your vote for Bucky! (We'll post another reminder closer to showtime, tech permitting.)

Finally, a big tip of the hat to Aaron Crisler and the kind folks at MusicCityUpdate.com for capturing Nashville's star-studded happenings so beautifully. Click here to enjoy one of the most stunning concert galleries we've ever seen. Many thanks to Mr. Crisler and company for sharing these amazing images! (There were lots of dedicated Bucky and Rocky Covington fans at the show last night, as well--we'll keep an eye out for audience recaps and photos all day today.)

More very soon-c'mon back!
