Well, we knew we were in for a wild week on the Mediabase charts--but in this case, "wild" means "fun"! Bucky's single, "A Different World" is now #17 on the Mediabase weighted listings and #19 on the Top 500. (As of this hour, Carrie Underwood's smash hit "Wasted" is a recurrent...but will it be a recurrent in the morning? Stay tuned...)

Meanwhile, there's good news for country fans in the Great Lakes--Bucky's appearance at this weekend's WYCD Downtown Hoedown in Detroit is happening on Saturday, May 19th (he'll be performing on the Greektown Casino Main Stage in Hart Plaza at about 2:05 p.m.), and Michigan-based Borders is sponsoring autograph sessions during the entire festival. You can say hello to Bucky at the Borders and 99.5 WYCD booths at about 4:00 p.m. Saturday, and his Lyric Street labelmate Josh Gracin will be signing autographs at 5:00. For the whole artist schedule and much more info, check out the Hoedown's site at WYCD.com--and as always, keep in mind that schedules and times are subject to change.

And at 9 p.m. ET, be sure to tune in to the Idol results show--Bucky's buddy Elliott Yamin will be performing “Wait for You” live tonight! Huge congratulations to E on his success.

More soon!
