Coffee break news: TV time!

Thanks to Sunscreen of the Bucky Truck Stop at Rawkhands for the kind heads-up on the following sweet repeats of Bucky Covington TV appearances:

Bucky's performance on Jimmy Kimmel Live will repeat on May 15th at 12:05 ET; he sang "Empty Handed" and a bit of "Back When We Were Gods" to close out the show, which originally aired on April 19th. (Rocky Covington's fans will want to catch this one for sure; Rocky got quite a bit of prime camera time, as well...)

GAC's site lists an encore presentation of the Joe Nichols/Jason Michael Carroll episode of Grand Ole Opry Live on May 6th and 8th, but Sunscreen's very reliable Windows Media Center setup sent out an alert that the Alison Krauss/Bucky Covington episode will be repeated that night. If you're blessed with GAC, you'll definitely want to tune in that evening's show. (There was also an alert for GAC's Top Twenty Country Countdown on May 7th; again, no corresponding link as of this post, but absolutely worth watching out for...)

And of course, be sure to watch Bucky's visit to Hazel Smith's kitchen on Southern Fried Flicks, airing Saturday, May 5 at 8 p.m. ET and Sun., May 6 at 3 p.m. ET on CMT.

(As always, TV schedules are subject to change--we'll try to stay on top of the latest. Visit the excellent Bucky Truck Stop for more. Thanks, Sunscreen! More soon--Winnie)

zpJust to reinforce the "slow and steady" approach to CD sales, I just read that Billy Currington's current CD has just been certified platinum. The release date was 10-18-05. Hi third single "Good Directions" from the CD has been climbing up the charts for 30 weeks and is now at #4. Sometimes it's good to be the tortoise and not the hare.

  3. Beesims, exactly! And I think the country charts are very hare-friendly, from the looks of things...

I need to cut back on the caffiene too. Way too many typos in my last post.

Very cute Winnie. I actually kind of agree. Typos are like little quickfire puzzles when you're reading a post and they do give it individuality.
