Sunday news: Fox and Friends, XM Driver's Ed, Fayetteville memories and more...

Bucky Covington's debut CD is in stores now, and his music video is now available for online viewing at CMT.com and Yahoo Music. You can buy Bucky's album at Amazon, Best Buy , iTunes and Target, hear the full version of his single "A Different World" at CMT and GAC, preview his entire CD at Clear Channel Music, or enjoy samples of songs from the CD at Bucky's official MySpace. An autographed copy of Bucky Covington can be ordered while supplies last at his official site or via his official fan club.

Bucky wraps up his busy week today with a an interview and performance on Fox-TV's Fox & Friends at about 9:50 a.m ET (check your local listings for exact time and station) in New York City, before enjoying a well-deserved day off. (Edited after the show--looks like Bucky's segment was bumped due to breaking news. We'll keep a lookout for more TV stops in the days ahead--Winnie)

You can also catch Bucky on XM Satellite Radio today; the final repeat of his "Driver's Ed" performance airs at noon ET today on the Highway 16 channel. (XM offers a free trial, or go all the way and snag a $7.99 per month subscription for online listening.)

And here's a fun bit of debut-week radio goodness, courtesy of KGRT in Las Cruces, New Mexico; Bucky was interviewed by KGRT's Sheila Kirsch on April 19th (the podcast is archived here), and he's got the featured spot on the station's Starbound page. Bucky's also a part of their beautiful Country Radio Seminar photo album--looks like that was a great time for all!

Speaking of great times, Bucky's Fayetteville stop was a real treat for his home state fans. Bucky's thread at the Fox boards is full of happy memories (and great links) this morning, and don't miss Happydays' great shots from the concert in the previous post. We'll be on the lookout for recaps and reviews from Saturday's Harrisburg show, as well--stay tuned!

After the Sunday countdowns are over, be sure to keep Bucky moving up the charts with a request at your local country station. (He's currently in a very close race with the #22 song on the Mediabase Top 500 and weighted charts--a few more requests might help get him all the way over that line.) And vote for Bucky at CMT's Pure Country Pure 12-Pack video countdown and at GAC's Top Twenty Country Countdown , too...

And we'll wrap things up for now with two eye-candy links: stop into the newly updated Bucky Truck Stop at Rawkhands, where the fun keeps rollin' along, and be sure to hit MusicCityUpdate.com for fresh Nashville event photos, including shots of Bucky's fellow Idol alums Kellie Pickler, Carrie Underwood, Chris Daughtry and Kimberley Locke. There's also a neat tidbit in the Music City Update news section--this year's CMA Music Festival will be filmed for a "two-hour, ABC Television Network special that will air later this summer." Will Bucky's 6/7 performance on the Riverfront Stages be part of the TV extravaganza? No word yet, but we sure have our fingers crossed...

More soon!

Bucky did not make it on Fox & Friends Sunday but if his segment was pre-taped maybe it will make it on one of the weekday shows this week? I hope so! :)

  4. Hello Anon and Anon--not sure if he was supposed to be live or if it was pretaped, but if the latter is the case, I hope it turns up, too!

(Keeping the families affected by the Blue Angels tragedy in our thoughts today--that was sad news to wake up to.)

  5. And Anon 6:37, hee! That's funny--now that you mention it, they do look like a row of mug shots--only with happy, smiling rich-hipster "suspects"... :)
