Bucky Covington performed at "An Evening with Danielle Peck and Friends", a recent benefit for Nashville's Safe Haven shelter; visit MusicCity Update.com to see more photos. Bucky's new music video is now available for online viewing at CMT.com and Yahoo Music. You can pre-order Bucky's debut CD at Amazon, Best Buy and Target, hear the full version of his single "A Different World" at CMT, or enjoy samples of four songs from the CD at Bucky's official MySpace. An autographed copy of Bucky Covington can be pre-ordered at his official site or via his official fan club. (Photo by Aaron Crisler/MusicCityUpdate.com)
Saturday night had a couple of pleasant surprises for Bucky Covington fans who were out and about with the radio on--Lia and The Bo Reynolds Show played "A Different World" for their nationwide audiences yesterday evening. The single's definitely catching fire all over--and if you'd like to know how it's faring on the syndicated countdowns, tune in to Kix Brooks' American Country Countdown and Bob Kingsley's Country Top 40 and follow Bucky's climb up the charts. (Not sure where to listen? Check Radiotime and Radio-Locator for stations carrying the countdowns in your area.)
Bucky's promo tour is on pause for the weekend, but last night's Q104 Birthday Bash in Kansas City was a rave-up to remember--our friend Buckyflowers was there, and she generously shared her recap on the American Idol boards late Saturday night. Enjoy!
MySpace users have some fun in store at Bucky's MySpace this weekend--there are new videos on his profile today (you'll have to be logged-in to view these), as well as a cute template for your profile, and links to more goodies for your desktop. (And nope, my old PC isn't letting me see these at all--if you can see Bucky's new video clips, please leave a note in comments and let me know what I'm missing...)

Bucky will be making some in-studio visits at both GAC's and CMT's video countdown shows--it'd be fun for him to be greeted with a big jump on the video charts, right? We can help make that happen. Stop in at GAC's Top Twenty Country Countdown voting page and give "A Different World" a round of applause! (CMT Pure Country Pure 12-Pack video countdown is looking for our votes, too--Bucky will be over at the Top 20 Countdown set with Lance Smith, of course, but good news travels fast...)
And while we're talking about CMT, be sure to watch CMT Power Picks on Monday; Bucky's video for "A Different World" will be one of the voting options on the live challenge show, which airs at 3 p.m. ET. (Get those mouse clicking fingers ready...)
More soon!
Hey Winnie-Sorry you can't see the videos--they are really cute but poor quality (I think he made them with his digital camera). It just shows him, Rocky, Ducky, and his manager on the bus headed to Ohio. He pans the inside of the his bus, because of the poor quality, you can't really tell much about it! Hope this helps!
ReplyDeleteYeah hard to see but cute. Thanks for the great find! Just basically 3 videos of Bucky set loose with a video camera(or digi camera lol)He is wasndering around the bus showing rocky playing Play Station, Don Medlock trying to sleep but Bucky is filming him lol and a quick pan of the bus lounge area. Did pick on Don Harris for a minute saying "Here's Don Harris trying to look like he's doing something". Told us in the camera thanks for watching him and to be good. Hope he makes this a habit!
ReplyDeleteIcyfire and Kathy, thanks a million for the details! I am going to have to impose upon my neighbor and borrow some desk time so I can see these. I'm with you--hope he does make it a habit! :)
ReplyDeleteLet's see....Bucky is adorable and has a gravelly voice which I am sorta crazy about. It is reminiscent of the tour he did of the AI guy bus. At first I thought a girl who posted these had actually gotten on board his bus to film it..I was like...how do you get to do that??
ReplyDeleteBuckyflowers, hi! I am so happy to you were able to make it to the Kansas City show--sounds like that was a blast! Your recap was wonderful--thanks so much for sharing the fun. (And yes--tour bus cinematographer would be a great gig to have... :)
ReplyDeleteI'm with ya'll...I hope these little videos become a ritual for him. That would be awesome!!
ReplyDeleteHi Winnie,
ReplyDeletealso they are only 15 seconds per each of the 3
videos, so he only really gets a chance to say
hi, heres the bus, they have a play station, theres rocky (and the guys) and thanks for checkin him out!
It is cute to see, though.
Have a good day!
Chan
Hi, Chan and Icyfire! Icyfire, you're right--he definitely should do a fun "road diary" with his digicam.
ReplyDeleteAnd Chan, hi and thanks for the description--even though they're short, they must be a hoot! I sure hope I can check them out eventually. Have a lovely Sunday!
