Edited to add a link to KTOM's photo gallery--enjoy a few great on and off stage images of Bucky, Rocky and the band in Monterey. (This one's especially fun...)
The numbers are in, and they're looking good. Last night's video countdown shows tell the story; Bucky Covington's "A Different World" jumped up to #8 on CMT's Top Twenty Countdown, #4 on GAC's Top 20 Country Countdown, and #1 on CMT's Pure Country Pure 12-Pack. Congratulations to Bucky and to his stalwart supporters!
And while Friday's "most beautiful people" daily poll at CMT ended with Bucky in a very strong second place, he's got today's Interact poll all to himself: "Bucky Covington's album has debuted at No. 1 on the country chart. Are you surprised?" You can let everyone know how you feel by casting your vote at CMT.com's Interact page.
Bucky and Sawyer Brown played Las Vegas last night, but chances are what happened in Vegas won't stay in Vegas. (Well, not all of what happened, anyway...) Several of Bucky's biggest fans were on hand for the Boulder Station show, and we'll keep an eye out for photos, recaps and memories today. In the meantime, the very kind Angel Eyes has shared her concert photos from Harrisburg at the Fox boards--thanks so much!
If you'd like to catch Bucky and Sawyer Brown on stage tonight, they'll be playing the SUU Centrum Arena in Cedar City, Utah; some last minute tickets may be available at SmithsTix.com.
As of post time; Bucky's "A Different World" was #23 on both the Top 500 and weighted Mediabase charts--but things could have changed by the time you read this. Requests will help the single make its way into the Top 20--ask for Bucky at your local country station, and be sure to request him on your favorite syndicated country programs tonight, too! We'll post the links to the biggest ones this evening. Feel free to give Bucky's beautiful video a boost at at CMT's Pure Country Pure 12-Pack video countdown and at GAC's Top Twenty Country Countdown today, as well. Back later today with more news--see you soon!
What a yummy photo!
