Coffee break news: Regis and Kelly, Opry news video, the Low Dough Show and more

Bucky's new music video is now available for online viewing at CMT.com and Yahoo Music. You can pre-order Bucky's debut CD at Amazon, Best Buy and Target, hear the full version of his single "A Different World" at CMT, or enjoy samples of four songs from the CD at Bucky's official MySpace.

Set your DVRs--in just a week from now, Bucky's TV tour in support of his upcoming debut CD begins in fine style! Here's a bit of background on his 3/21 appearance on Live with Regis and Kelly, courtesy of Lyric Street:

Bucky Covington will be a featured guest on Buena Vista Television’s top-rated syndicated talk show Live With Regis and Kelly on Wednesday, March 21st. As part of the show’s American Idol week, the Season 5 finalist will perform "A Different World," the lead single from his self-titled debut CD slated for release April 17th on Lyric Street Records. The show is broadcast on network affiliates nationwide; check www.liveregisandkelly.com for listings by area.

Fan blogs are already buzzing with excitement surrounding Covington’s live appearance on Regis and Kelly, which marks his first network television performance of new music from his upcoming album.

Produced by Dale Oliver and Sawyer Brown frontman Mark Miller, the Grammy and Dove Award-winning producer for Casting Crowns, Bucky Covington features eleven tracks, including the lead single "A Different World" and "Carolina Blue," a song written by Covington and Sawyer Brown’s Mark Miller and Gregg (Hobie) Hubbard. The project was recorded at Mark Miller’s Zoo Studio just outside Nashville.

Meanwhile, here's a reminder for the Pacific Northwest fans out there--Bucky will be in Spokane tomorrow for the Low Dough Show at Trick Shot Dixie, sponsored by Cat Country 94. Grab a ticket at Tickets West and get ready for some fantastic live Bucky Covington music at an unbeatable price.

Kathy at Team Covington has a great update on the CMA Music Festival (formerly known as Fan Fair) today--head over there for fresh news about the best time to catch Bucky and all your country favorites! The CMA festival also has its very own MySpace; add them as a friend and keep tabs on the latest information.

And finally, a bit of video from the Opry news sweep--WKRN/2 Nashville's Steph in the City blog has an enticing video link entitled The Scene in the City: Bucky Covington To Debut On Opry Stage on the right-hand sidebar. (My old Fisher-Price PC won't play it, of course--if you can see it, please leave a note in comments and tell us what we're missing!)

More soon!
