3:23 ET: A friend who was listening says that Bucky might be stopping in at WFMS in Indianapolis for an interview this afternoon--here's the streaming link. Enjoy!
(Bucky was on air for a brief interview at about 6:15 --he mentioned that he'd been to a doctor about his sore throat, and the interview featured cuts from the CD instead of live singing. Get well soon, Bucky! And in other radio news, "A Different World" returned to WKML's "Top 5 at 6" in the #2 spot this evening. Kudos to all who requested today, and many thanks to Tracy for the update. More later!--Winnie)
Oh ye of little faith Ms. Buckymania...they just promoed him being on for the second time I heard. They said in about an hour...on 2 minutes ago. :) Believe your "friend"...hahaha!
ReplyDeleteHee! Okay--I shall keep listening and will update out front...I didn't hear it, yet I believe. Sorry I doubted! Mea culpa and all that. :)
ReplyDeleteGeez....hurry up already Bucky....I have to go to class in 30 minutes. :O
ReplyDeleteThey are playing "A Different World" now...could that be a hint he is in the building now? :)
ReplyDeleteI lost my stream! Been streaming WFMS for hours and now I can't get it. Dang. Enjoy i!
ReplyDeleteYay it is Bucky!
ReplyDeleteI can only listen for 10 minutes so will miss most of it if he is going to sing.
ReplyDeleteTalking up Mark Miller.
ReplyDeleteApril 17
Got the single plug in too ...seamlessly as per usual. haha
His speaking voice is so rough tonight.
ReplyDeleteOh they are going to play actual cut from album. AWWWW....Bucky was late because he went to doctors because of his sore throat. GET WELL SOON BUCKY! I guess that is why he went to recorded version...which is cool with me.
ReplyDeleteLoves all the songwriters. haha :) Cuteness.
ReplyDeleteJust got here, was on WKML, Bucky is back at #2 ! :)
ReplyDeleteTuned in to WFMS now... whew, hard to keep up with him these days! lol
Oh those southerners can't take a little cold weather. hahaha
ReplyDeleteGotta go!
Thanks, y'all! And so sorry to hear that Bucky's throat is ailing him...goodness.
ReplyDeleteI had to reboot and Bucky's introducing "I'm Good" now--street bike story was funny. :)
Tracy, thanks for WKML news--that's awesome! And Anon, take care!
ReplyDeleteBucky is a Tyson fan?
ReplyDeleteI'm gonna let that one slide. lol ;)
Very kewl, they have dinner for him, and fans are waiting. He said he will be doing radio spots until July and looking at a fall tour. ;)
ReplyDeleteHe could not be any cuter could he? Love hearing him talk about Rocky. He called Rocky from the road this a.m. asked what he was doing - "riding your new street bike" :) Adorable!
ReplyDeleteBucky said they're booked up with radio promo and Sawyer Brown until July--hopes to have a concert tour going in the fall.
ReplyDelete(I so wanted to have a full recap for you--sorry my connection fainted midstream.)
Hey, thanks, Tracy and Anon! You two covered all the good stuff--much appreciated.
ReplyDeleteI missed the Tyson bit! Is that a good thing? :)
oh that was very funny. Bucky mentioned that he and his dad used to have an ongoing argument about Mike Tyson. Bucky liked him and believed that Mike as a fighter that should be the focus, but his dad was bothered by what Mike's personal life. Bucky and his dad once put a bet on fight w/Tyson and some huge Russian guy and ...(I'm sketchy a bit from here - got distracted for a couple seconds) ...something about the Russian getting knocked out and having to go to the hospital, his dad wouldn't pay up, said it didn't count.....
ReplyDeleteoy. I should have proofread that before posting. I apologize for the numerous grammatical errors...;)
ReplyDeleteNo problem! :) It would have been fun to be a fly on the wall for that boxing discussion.
ReplyDelete(My dad and brother are both big boxing fans, so I know how...um, "interesting" that can be...)
Yay about the countdown...so glad to hear Bucky was near the top. What did Larry say about him?
ReplyDeleteBucky is on GAC Nights tonight...but don't tune in late...he is first up. :)
I always miss everything..... But I was at work this time. I had to close the shop tonight.(I cut hair.) At least I have good reason this time. Maybe one of these days I will get to hear him on the radio. I am from NC as well, (2 hours from the Rock) and there is not a lot of radio stuff going on here. SUCKS! LOL!
ReplyDeleteIt's frustrating missing these, I know! Hope that the stations where Bucky was interviewed today will eventually offer podcasts--it's nice to be able to hear it, even if it isn't live.
ReplyDeleteHe has that WKML St. Jude's performance in Fayetteville in April--not sure how close that is to you, but it might be worth checking out!
thats not to far! When Bucky does do stuff in NC, it is always kinda close! LOL! I am like 10min. from Greensboro... you might not know where that is. I am also like 10min. from where Chris Daughtry got that big $700,000 house. We might see what we can do about the st. Judes performance!!!
ReplyDeleteExcellent! I hope you go, and please come back and tell us all about it--it sounds like it's going to be a great show for a great cause! :)
ReplyDeleteHey there - I missed the 8:00 video and they I stayed up for the 12:01 am... can you belive I was up until 11:54 and fell asleep. I can't win.....
ReplyDeleteBummer, Pizzi! But there's good news--looks like you'll have plenty of chances on GAC today. Bucky's video is running two or three times a day and hopefully more as the song continues up the charts.
ReplyDeleteIt'll be on at 2:26 ET (just a few minutes from now!) and at 12:27 a.m. ET, or so GAC's site says. Good luck and I hope you catch it! :)
