Weekend wrap...

A few odds and ends to wrap up a very eventful week:

First and foremost, two of this week's most coveted sound clips are now available at the Bucky Covington Fans MySpace; stop in to listen to a long bit from Bucky's new single, "Different World", and check out the fun phone interview with Bucky that aired during Friday's "Top 5 at 6" on WKML in Fayetteville. Kathy has all the info on a fun poll happening right now at the Country Weekly forums--head on over to her beautiful Team Covington blog for a quick snapshot of the results, as well as details on how to cast your vote for "most anticipated new single". (Hmmm...wonder which one to choose...)

And Lisa/letusjudge of Buck Wild fame graciously shared a message at the Fox boards from Jon Anthony, program director at XM Satellite Radio's Highway 16. He confirmed that the channel has indeed added Bucky's single "Different World" to the playlist there, adding "Be sure to let everyone know that XM is where they'll hear great new artists like Bucky! Can't wait to hear from all of the other fans!" (If you're a subscriber--or if you're sampling XM via their free trial--click the "Contact Us" link on the channel's home page and put in a good word for Bucky...)

Marzy kindly gave us a Mediabase airplay update in the previous post's comments section--Bucky's new song rose from 77 to 74 between yesterday afternoon and today. (Thanks, Marzy!)
