It looks the the conference call from tonight's Knoxville GAC Christmas concert is on! Keep checking this thread at the Fox boards for details; I'll be here tonight with the number and all the info for those who can't access that site. Pour a cup of coffee (or, um, whatever your evening beverage of choice might be) and enjoy Blue County, Steve Azar, Deana Carter, Julie Roberts and Bucky Covington via the wonders of cellular technology.
And if you're in Michigan, you'll probably be even more inspired to pick up a ticket for tomorrow night's show at the MSU Auditorium. Grab a good seat and be there for the fun!
Julie Roberts was on the cover of the the Blount County Daily Times' Weekend magazine; click here to read a great interview with Bucky's talented touring partner. (The part about how Julie finally got her break will put a big smile on your face. Needless to say, we love Cinderella stories around here...)
Bucky's bio at the GAC Christmas tour site is such a must-read that we're linking to it again. It offers a terrific perspective on Bucky's musical and personal adventure--and the journey's just beginning.
Finally, in other musical Christmas news, two of Bucky's performing friends are busy putting together some gifts for your ears. Elliott Yamin's special AOL/iTunes single, a cover of Donny Hathaway's "This Christmas", has been pushed back a few days, but you know it's going to be worth the wait, so be sure to check his AOL Music page for its debut. And Ayla Brown has a lovely holiday EP--two great tunes await you at Last.fm, and both songs, along with her version of "Rockin' Around the Christmas Tree" are also available at the AylaBrown.com forums (registration required), and streaming in rotation on Idolwaves.com.* Fill your iPod with some holiday cheer!
More later tonight...c'mon back.
*Of course, I'm not affiliated with Ayla, her family, her record company Double Deal, Boston College, or the NCAA. (Anyone who has ever seen me attempt to play baskeball is now laughing their heads off--the NCAA wouldn't want me within a 50-mile radius.) I'm just a blogger.
