Very quick update, 12/18

(Hey! I think I saw a sweet, chubby, red-suited fellow with a long white beard fly past...he seems to have left a tuneful, bluesy gift for you at MJ's Big Blog and Buck Wild this morning. Big thanks to Santa's helpers MJ, Lisa and Marzy for sharing the joy...)

There's a definite quiet feeling in the air this morning, as the GAC Christmas tour winds down and Bucky Covington's return to Nashville--and to the recording studio--lies ahead. Last night was a special evening, as Steve Azar (who gained a new fan in me--he's fantastic) is leaving the tour early to begin a dream gig touring with Bob Seger. (Please see correction above--Steve's departing early, but you might be enjoying that "Catfish Christmas" tonight after all.) Congratulations, Steve!

If you'd like to catch one of the four remaining dates, you've got a chance tonight; click here for tickets to this evening's show at the Tivoli Thearter in Chattanooga. Tomorrow, the concert lights up the Macon City Auditorium (get your tickets here) and on Wednesday, you can catch Bucky, Deana, Julie and Blue County in Jacksonville at the Times-Union Center. This is a beautiful holiday show--you'll really be glad you were there.

After the GAC tour wraps up and the holidays are over, it looks as though Bucky will be right back in the studio with Mark Miller, finishing up that very eagerly anticipated debut album. As always, the best place to stay posted on that happy progress is to bookmark Bucky's official site, BuckyCovingtonMusic.com, and check back often--we'll keep an ear open here, too.

More later--enjoy your Monday!
