WRKO update...

Bucky's on now! (Typing this during a news break.) Three fans from the Fox boards got to talk to Bucky during the first part of his segment; Kathy from Team Covington was on the air, I think, but her call was dropped. (Hopefully, they'll get her back on the air!) Among the news flashes; Bucky says he's moving to Nashville in a few weeks, did some tracks and they've been sent to the label (still un-named) for a future single to be released, they hope, "just after Christmas"; will have an official website and fan club soon (he mentioned the best domain names being "bought up"), and said the Idol Rat Pack (my words, not his) would love to get together but schedules are crazy at the moment.

Misty from the Fox boards is on now--fun times! More soon!--W

Updated again--Bucky's segment is over and Mandisa is on--they gave each other a sweet friendly shout-out and just made plans over the air to call each other when Bucky gets back to Nashville in December. Mandisa's writing a book! Play by play happening at the Fox boards--thanks to the hardworking my4frogs.

Edited yet again--Scott Brown mentioned that the phones were "lit up" during Bucky's segment, and emphasized that people were calling in from all over the country. Kudos to all the fans who called in to show your support, and to Bucky for being a good sport! The thread at the Fox boards is still being updated with info; I'll have a full post here later today, too. Enjoy!

  2. WORK? How dare work interfere with our Bucky supporting time! :) It was a short segement, but very sweet--Bucky sounds busy and happy, and the fans who called in to talk in really showed how much he's appreciated. Mr. Brown said the boards were lit up!

    Have a lovely day, Tracy!

I'm so glad everyone had a great time yesterday listening, and chatting with Bucky!
We tried to get the word out as soon as we could, as we got news from Scott.
So hopefully not too many people missed it.
A pretty selfless act on behalf of Mr. Scott Brown, I must say.
having this Idol segment, promoting other idols, knowing full well that he could not have his daughter Ayla on the show, because of her NCAA restrictions. Shows you what kind of man he is, as well as the rest of his family. Ayla, grew close with Mandisa, Ace Bucky, and Will during thier time on idol. I think it was a great thing he did, and Bucky sure got alot of on-air time...so awesome.
he did great, it was nice hearing the exchange between him and Mandisa too.

Good Luck Bucky, and Kudos to Scott Brown!!!

  6. Thanks Arielle, and please send our thanks to Ayla's team as well for sharing the news! It was a lovely segment, Mr. Brown was very gracious, and we really do appreciate your getting the word out so fast. Nice to see how the Idol families and friends are so close.

Wishing Ayla all the best! That is a beautiful official site. It's good to see a truly multitalented lady going for her dreams.
