On the road again...

Photo by BuckyCrazed...thanks so much! The short sleeves might be swapped out for a nice warm leather jacket, but tour buses are in season all year long; photo of Bucky Covington heading over to greet fans in Louisville by the very generous BuckyCrazed. Thanks again!

Tonight's show at the Cotillion in Wichita, Kansas marks the start of the GAC Country Christmas tour--if you're in the area and you're checking out a blog called Buckymania, there's a strong possibility you've already got a ticket. But on the off-chance you haven't snagged one yet, here's the ticket-purchase link--grab a good close seat, enjoy the show, then come back and tell us all about it...

The who's-going-where thread at the Fox boards has been folded into the main GAC thread there, and from the looks of the list, Bucky's fans will be all over. So far, Sunday night's concert is the first to be "claimed"--stay tuned for some fun recaps late this weekend and early next week, if not sooner.

Be sure to hit the GAC Tour website too, if you haven't already--it's been updated with a photo of Bucky, and his bio is "coming soon." (Kind of fun to see him as part of the "ornament" graphic scheme on that well-designed site, too. Sawyer Brown sells an actual Christmas ornament yearly from their official site...considering the new fans Bucky's bound to attract on this holiday jaunt, I wonder if there'll be a Bucky Covington ornament in the works for 2007? Thinking far ahead,...)

A kind Covington fan from the Carolinas just wrote with information on the 12/21 GAC tour date at the Halifax Community College Auditorium in Roanoke Rapids; it's a private event for season subscribers, it seems, but if you'd like to be among those present (and lend a hand to a worthy cause in the process) the tour's charity sponsor, World Vision, is accepting volunteers for this and most of the other dates on the tour. Interested in helping out? Visit the World Vision volunteer information pages (FAQ here) for more details.

See you later this morning!
