Tuesday odds and ends...

Bucky at the Top 12 party; click image for a few more hi-res photos.

Another reminder for those who missed the news last night--some wonderful new video has just been posted at Buck Wild. Go there now and enjoy lfesvr's clip of Bucky graciously singing to the fans who were lucky enough to be in on the conference call from Erin's Victory Dance, October 14th. (Thanks again to lfesvr and Lisa/letusjudge for sharing this lovely moment, and to Pizzi, Happydays and Honeygirl for the heads-up...)

A little while ago, there was a brief Chatbox discussion about Bucky's "man-friendly" sound and style--it's a safe bet to assume that his country/Southern-rock sound will appeal to a whole bunch of men (and women) for whom "Idol" in general is a bit too tame. Well, it looks as though whoever's handling the music at Heinz Field agrees--a kind fan at the Fox boards reports that her husband called her in to point out that Bucky's "Superstition" cut got some airplay during a Steelers game. (How fun is that?)

And here's yet another photographic "blast from the past"--there are some excellent, huge hi-res photos from the Top 12 red-carpet party still available, thanks to a generous fan in Hawaii whose site remains online. Unfortunately, three of the seven original images have disappeared into cyberspace, but the four that remain are terrific, especially at xxl size...

Finally, there are two fun Nashville-themed threads freshly posted at the official boards--you can send your best wishes to the Covingtons as they begin their Music City journey here, or help to "remodel" the new digs in Nashville here. Either way, it's plain to see Bucky's supporters are genuinely excited about what's up the road--and we'll stay tuned all along the way.

More soon!

How disappointing, not to be able to see that georgous Bucky singing. I have found that the video will only play with internet explorer. If you are trying to view it via another means, try using internet explorer. If you must download IE, do it... it is so worth it. Hopefully we will be able to add other videos soon.

  2. Thanks so much, Lisa, for hosting the video and for the tip about IE. I am going to "borrow" a neighbor's PC later tonight and hope that I'll be able to see it from there.

    Take care--much appreciated!
