(Posting this one again just because I flat-out like it--Bucky on stage in July, by DeniseBernadette. Click image to visit her beautiful tour gallery.)

Rocky's radio interview confirmation of Bucky's Monday departure for Nashville (mentioned in our post below) is causing a happy commotion. Congratulations, Bucky! He'll be on his way with a whole lot of affection, support and well-wishes following him to Music City.

(Edited 10/31--looks like the Covingtons are headed to Nashville later this week, rather than Monday, perhaps due to a fun last minute musical appearance in Concord NC--Bucky will be onstage with Sawyer Brown for their 11/3 concert there. We'll update again when the adventure officially begins!)

Looks like there's a little website-related buzz happening today, as well--a helpful fan at the Fox boards noted some changes on a closely watched "parked" space this morning. Is BuckyCovington.com currently in negotiation? Cybersquatters, who buy up domain names in anticipation of an emerging performer's success and in hope of a future reselling profit, remain an annoying problem for Idols and other stars. Kimberley Locke of Idol's Season Two has had to use KimberleyLockeWeb.com as her official site for years, while KimberleyLocke.com remains unused and presumably overpriced. AceYoung.com is being used by a commercial firm; Mandisa.com, ElliottYamin.com, KevinCovais.com and KelliePickler.com are "parked"; MelissaMcGhee.com and LisaTucker.com were long ago bought by others who happened to share the same names. KatharineMcPhee.com and TaylorHicks.com are owned by their labels, naturally. And ChrisDaughtry.com was sold on eBay yesterday for $510.00. (Chris' MySpace page says that the official site will be DaughtryOfficial.com; right now, that address will take you right back to MySpace.)

Even Bruce Springsteen couldn't retrieve "BruceSpringsteen.com" from a "fan" (who also was a "fan" of a lot of unhappy domain-deprived celebrities, as it turns out) so the Boss' official site is BruceSpringsteen.net. Here's hoping that Bucky and his label end up with an easy to find address and a brilliant new site for Bucky's current and future fans to enjoy!

Finally, we're looking forward to hearing about the fun at Rocky's Carolina Grill show tonight--pop back this evening, when we'll check for updates from the costume party. (And if you're going, have a fantastic time!)

More later today...
