It's Halloween-- a day for the unexpected and the unseen, and scary-fun surprises around every corner. (Fitting, isn't it?) Bucky's move to Nashville may be a bit-off schedule as of now...and if you've ever had to do a long-distance extended trip and/or move, you know that changes of schedule are pretty much par for the course. The good news, of course, is that Bucky's recording plans are still very much a go as of this writing--and seeing him on the CAA Touring roster with some seriously heavy names is a clue that we might have an extremely enjoyable summer concert season to look forward to, as well. (Thanks to BuckyCrazed for the heads-up.)
In the interim, a deep breath, a bit of excellent chocolate and some serene, fun thoughts will do a world of good. (Granted, serenity is not the first mood anyone associates with Halloween, but today might be an exception.) Whether the Covingtons leave for the recording studio on a Monday, a Friday, or the day after Thanksgiving, we will eventually have a rockin' debut CD that will make all the uncertainty of these past few weeks fade away. (And when there's any confirmed, official news--about the move, the site or the single--I'll be thrilled to pass it along!)
If chocolate isn't your stress-reducing strategy, why not go shopping? Happydays mentioned the StarStyle site in her post about Rocky's radio interview last week--we've linked there before, but Bucky's pages deserve a second look, now that Bucky and CAA might be giving us a reason to dress up for some concerts next year. (Also, I love Western fashion, so I'm glad for the excuse to peek...) You might be happy to know that while the denim items and the cool boots were on the pricey side, some of the accessories are surprisingly affordable. (This very stylish belt buckle might make a great gift for your favorite cowboy.)
My favorite of the outfits Bucky wore during the show's run is probably that awesome rock and roll "Fat Bottomed Girls" leather and denim (and bangin' hair) look, but the black and gold Scully Gunfighter shirt was a seriously hip Western choice. And it comes in a ladies' version, too...hmmm.
Off to hide my charge cards. News post next--see you later today!
nice pic dude.
