Simple Saturday serenity

(Did Bucky get a third song in Dallas last night? Reports from the boards--especially the support thread for Bucky's "Special Mother" Tracey--mentioned that he sang "Simple Man" at last night's Grand Prairie show. Looking for some full recaps as we speak, and I'll post any links when I find them. A new song! A"Bucky's choice" song! Hey, we've been lobbying for one since...well, since the tour opened, so if this is a go, we couldn't be happier. Otherwise, it's a serene Saturday--the tour's winding down, and the boards are quiet, but there's still plenty of fun to be found:

Over at the Fox boards, a poster kindly shared her story and a link to her great Photobucket album--she got the chance to say hi to Bucky and Ace before the Tacoma show. (Love those radiant smiles!) And Bucky's impressing some new listeners at the most recent shows; here's a brief recap from a commenter at MJ's (I'm with the writer, and we're both in agreement with Bucky--it would have been great to have him do a true country song this tour), another from the Concert Series folder at the Fox boards, and another short but sweet one from last night's show--no mention of "Simple Man", though.

Yesterday's Dallas Morning News review of Thursday's show barely mentions Bucky, though his dancing skills get a mention. (Hey, we like Bucky's dancing around here.) No newspaper reviews of last night's concert, so far--we'll keep an eye out.

There might be some excellent seats released for tonight's Houston show--try your luck at Ticketmaster, and here's hoping you find yourself a sweet one up front!
