An update from St. Louis

First reports from Sunday night's concertgoers are that Bucky missed tonight's show altogether due to illness; a notice was apparently posted on the arena doors. The official board has a good thread going, and updated info is sure to turn up there as it becomes available. Also, a poster at MJ's comments section relayed a message from a fan who spoke to Ace on Sunday; he told her that many of the singers, including Mandisa and Taylor Hicks, are battling strep throat. It's pretty safe to assume that's what kept Bucky offstage tonight, as well.

And a quote from another recap at MJ's: "Big Note: Bucky wasn't there due to illness. Kellie said he should be back tomorrow night though..." The Idols are off today, of course--it's Monday. After that, another six days of shows. Here's hoping Bucky can get some good, solid rest--and that he can take all the time he needs to get better and rejoin the tour at full strength.
