Saturday news sweep

Just a few odds and ends to start the day:

An extremely snarky/wild recap of the Duluth show comes via MJ's, and it sounds like the show was a total hoot--especially at the end. (I think we up North are missing out when it comes to these playful hometown/Southern shows, honestly...) Go read it now and come on back!

Yesterday's beautiful Duluth recap at the official boards has now been enhanced with some great concert pictures, including one of the coolest mid-Bucky Slide snaps we've ever seen. (There's a lot to be said for front-row seats! Thanks again for sharing these...)

Also at the Fox boards, a very thoughtful poster has begun a tour retrospective thread featuring highlights from fan recaps as well as from the national press. An excellent idea--kudos.

And if you're interested in a Bucky Covington calendar, there's some spirited discussion happening here. (By the end of the thread, it looks like this item could be a real possibility...)

I've posted this link in the sidebar, but I wanted to give it a plug here as well--Bucky now has a thread at the CMT message boards, in the New Artists section, and there's a whole lot of support and appreciation going on. If you'd like to hop in, you'll need to register-it's quick, and that thread is pretty lively.*

Tonight's Sunrise, Florida concert (that's Sunrise, not "Sunset"--apparently a few non-Floridian newspaper folks got this confused) may have some good last-minute production seats available; here's the Ticketmaster page. Good luck, and I hope you snag a sweet one.

See you soon!

*Yep, "WinnieBelle" is me--I had no idea that there were so many CMT viewers before me who took just about every form of "Winnie" there was...

    Hey girl!

Uh huh, a nice long pretty CMT video of a rockin' Bucky Covington song. I like that idea. :-) He's got a Southern rock & country sound, that'll fit in there, right? I want him to go platinum too! See you later, I hope. I'm home.

  2. Hmmmmm...are you sure you can't come to the Columbus concert with me? You really need to have the Bucky Experience live, gf.

(Hey, I can't wait for that nice long pretty big-budget CMT video either. I am so happy for that guy...)
