Quick update (and photo links), 8/26

Seems we've got a timeframe for contract news...sort of. At MJ's Big Blog, a commenter quoted a post from an Elliott Yamin fan who spoke with Bucky, Elliott, and Ace before last night's show:

"I asked all three of them about when we'd hear their big announcements. They all expressed how excited they were to finally be free (they really did seem excited!), but said that they had to finish all the details on their contracts, so we should expect something in about 2 weeks or so (bummer!)."

Hey, at least we know for sure that they're happy about that freedom--a good sign they're pretty much going full speed ahead with their real deals--and that we can keep those spots in our CD racks open. Her whole pre-concert post is available at E-Train, as is her concert recap--fun reading, both.

No photos from last night's show so far--we'll keep looking!--but here's a blast from the recent past in the meantime. Somehow I neglected to link to "Honeygirl's" beautiful Louisville photos; she shared these at the Fox boards a few days ago. Here's Bucky before the Louisville show, greeting fans (this one's especially fun), and here he is before the show and on stage in Greensboro. Many thanks to the talented photographer!

Tonight's L.A. show may have some great last-minute seats available--hop over to Ticketmaster and see, and here's hoping you snag a sweet one. (And if you're going to the LMBO show at the Viper Room, please tell us all about it. This should be a night to remember--and a special guest or two or several are almost guaranteed to appear...)
