Quick update, 8/17

(Our image host, Photobucket, is currently experiencing a few glitches--if you see no photos, come on back later, when everything should look lovely again...we hope!)

Here's a little news to start off the day:

A funny recap of last night's show in Detroit hit the comments section of MJ's Big Blog early this morning--what's this about an unscheduled (but cute-sounding) Bucky Bump? Sounds like the commenter was mildly impressed with Bucky's rhythm, but the Detroit News reviewer disagreed. (Yep, one of those reviews--not that every paper has to send a wild-eyed Idol fan to cover these concerts, but honestly...)

Moving right along, one of Bucky's youngest (and newest) fans gets a very brief, sweet quote in this Grand Rapids Press/M-Live review, and a short pre-show blurb from the Pioneer Press of St. Paul takes a rather unusual angle--or maybe not that unusual, if you've seen the Pop-Tarts videos. Is it all about the hair, after all? (Bodes well for the coming review--at least this writer has a sense of humor...)

And if you'd like to help a worthy cause and pick up a one of a kind jersey signed by Bucky himself, the kind-hearted Fox board fans have news (and an excellent plan to help). There's an Idol Auction benefitting the Make a Wish Foundation in New Hampshire. You'll need to check it out soon--the auction ends tomorrow at 3 p.m. Eastern time. Head to WZID for details and a great photo, and good luck!

Finally, once Photobucket is back up and running, there's a Grand Rapids concert album linked from this funny/sweet post at IDF--something to look forward to...

More later...have a brilliant Thursday!

  2. Grr, I missed you! :)

It's busy/quiet...hits are busy, comments are quiet, Bucky's feeling better, life is good. Hope you'll come out to one of the fall concerts, because you really need to see him sing live, girl. He is every bit as fun in concert as we thought he'd be.

Hope you're having a fab day, too!
