With only a couple of days to go until the tour kicks off in Manchester, the Idol fan boards seem to be veering wildly between silly (but funny) thumb-twiddling and serious last-minute scrambling. If you're heading out to one of the first few shows (or if you're waiting patiently for your chance to show Bucky some love in person), here's an info sweep before this party gets started:
There's an extremely speculative set list posted at Wikipedia's American Idols Live Tour 2006 page; according to this, Bucky's performing "Superstition", "Real Good Man" and "Wave on Wave" during the concerts, which doesn't sound quite right for some reason. Guess we'll know soon enough...
Looking for tickets on eBay? The average closing price for Idol ticket auctions there is now $247.81, up from $182 a couple of weeks ago. (Maybe the Bucky and Kellie goodness on Rita Cosby's program helped stir up a little more interest?) Generally speaking, prices tend to come down for each show as the deadline draws near--unused Idol tickets for a past show won't be "vintage collectibles" for years, and the sellers will be eager to recoup their investment. Good luck out there!
MJ of MJ's Big Blog was very lucky on eBay--3rd row seats are a nice win, and "some good pictures" could be in the offing there next weekend, so be sure to hop over. If you're concerned about the camera policy for your show, your best bet is to a) check the individual venue (camera policies vary) and/or b) be sneaky. And if you get some great Bucky Covington-in-performance photos, please feel free to share them here! (I'll stop shamelessly hinting any moment now...)
There are some new Pop-Tarts videos posted, and according to this thread at the official boards, Bucky's got a nice bit of face time once again. (Note to lurking Kellogg's marketing intern--yes, I've seen you in my stats. No specially-marked boxes in the Great Lakes yet. Have a heart!)
Last but definitely not least, if you're one of Bucky and Ace Young's many mutual fans, you'll especially enjoy Ace and Paris' new interview on the Fox site--Bucky makes a cameo appearance of sorts. (Sounds like fun...)
See you later today!
Mmmmmmmmmmmmmmm, Bucky and Ace. ;-). That was cute!!!
ReplyDeleteHi and thanks for stopping by! I am so looking forward to seeing them both live. (Maybe there's a "guys medley" planned for the tour, too?)
