Edited to add a link to Bucky and Ace's Rochester radio interview, courtesy of beesims, via MJ's. Thanks!
Had to work a little extra this week so I could justify--you guessed it--another concert ticket. I'll try to post again a little later, after a good night's sleep. In the meantime, yesterday's press release/interview has sparked a thoughtful discussion at the Fox boards about Bucky's post-Idol career and the artistic turns it may take. There's a sense of quiet but intense anticipation--and complete confidence in Bucky's talents and musical intuition--that makes that thread a joy to read. (No matter when that CD comes out, it's going to be heartily appreciated...)
Also, check out this cute post from a young Bucky fan in Cleveland who got a chance to talk to him before the show and at the after party. (Hmmm...was I the only Bucky fan in Cleveland who didn't get a chance to say "hi" to him last week?) She shares her photos in a separate thread--sounds like someone had an excellent time! (And the Tour Media thread at IDF will be full of new items by the time you read this...)
There's also more new concert footage, courtesy of a generous poster at the official boards; click here for links to goodies from the recent New Jersey shows.
And for something completely random, but kind of neat in a tech-toy way--the folks at Meca Messenger (it's sort of an all-in-one IM program for people with buddy lists from multiple services) have had not one, but two different Bucky Covington IM skins available for download for some time, in their American Idol section. Happy browsing...
The Idols are off today, and the tour resumes Tuesday in Bridgeport. Here's the Ticketmaster link--I hope a great seat awaits you there!
See you later today...enjoy your Monday!
Cool find! I will use that Bucky IM thingy, thnaks! <3
ReplyDeleteHey there, LTT! Let me know how the IM program works for you, okay? There's another skin there, too--a shot from "Real Good Man". Hope all's well up there!
ReplyDeleteThank you, thank-you, thank you for posting that NY interview. Bucky is so charming!
ReplyDeleteI enjoy reading your blog every day. Thanks for gathering all of the news together so we don't have to search for it!
Have a great time at your next concert!
Hi, and thanks so much, anon! (I can't take credit for finding that interview, though--I'll pass those kudos along to beesims the next time she stops in. I couldn't agree more about Bucky being a charming interviewee--hope there are more radio spots as the tour goes on.)
ReplyDeleteThanks for popping in!
