It's quiet so far today, but there's a possible bit of fun on the horizon...

Is there a Rita Cosby Idol interview segment in the works? Although there's nothing posted yet at the Rita Cosby Live and Direct page at MSNBC, MJs Big Blog and a helpful poster at Bucky's AI board both mention that the Top 10 will be interviewed on Thursday, June 22. (It'll be really good to see Bucky on the telly again, even for a little while.)

While you're at the official site, keep an eye out for yet another bit of eye candy--"Transformation" photos (also known as "those cute childhood/family snaps we flashed during the pre-song interview snippets") for each finalist are due to be posted in days to come. The top four finishers are there right now; Bucky's gallery shouldn't take too long to appear. (We hope!)

Speaking of photos, there's a nice shot of Bucky at Darlington Raceway you might have missed--it's in a beautiful photo blog of Matt Kenseth race images, about mid-page. (The whole blog is a big treat if you happen to be a NASCAR fan--the photos all open to wallpaper-size when clicked.)

And the Country Fever Fest official site should be updated soon, with photos of "the fans, and our great lineup." Definitely one to bookmark...
