Bucky Bash for last-minute travelers

Photo via Art.com; click to visit their Bucky Covington galleryIf you're making last-minute plans for today's Bucky Bash, here are some handy links to help you get all the details you'll need:

(Edited to add the 5/6 Richmond County Daily Journal article, and a link to R. Shawn Lewis' great photo illustration on the front page.)

The Richmond County Daily Journal has run several articles about the Bash; the latest one, complete with parking and activities information, is linked above. There's also a story about Bucky and Kellie Pickler's respective homecoming celebrations at the Charlotte Observer site, with an overiew of the day's planned activities.

Over at the official boards, it's pretty much all Bucky Bash, all the time--lots of excited partygoers, there! (Okay, so I'm a little envious...have fun, y'all!) The main "details" thread is here; you'll probably want to skip ahead to the end for the latest news.

And for those of us who won't be partying on the PeeDee this weekend, our next glimpse of Bucky will be on Idol's season finale, May 24. The British Guy in the black t-shirt has a few opinions about the night's possibilities; we'll just be really glad to get a chance to hear Bucky sing again. (Yes, even if it's a cheestastic "We All Are Chasing Sweet Rainbows and Puppies Into the Bright Destiny of Our Dreams" group number--and you just know it will be. Sigh. Let's hope there are no golf sweaters involved...)

Back later with Bucky Bash reviews and tour news. See you then!

  2. Hi, Becky--hope you enjoyed your Becky Bash today! :) And yep, there should be some good stories coming soon--a few of the posters at the official boards are already checking in, and it sounds as if quite a few will be hitting the roadhouse tonight to hear Rocky sing again. Wild weekend!
